I took this shot at the 2013 St Patrick's Day parade in London, just as I was crossing a road the gentleman in the picture was walking towards me. As I raised my camera he paused and subtly stood up straight for barely half a second to let me get the shot, then gave me a smile as we passed one-another. As a truck driver, my husband sees many abandoned and run-down places. Knowing how much I love to see these places he take photos for me to see them. This photo was taken in Perry Florida at what was once the Kingswood Motel. It has been closed now for years, yet the signs still stand proudly.
