Over the last several years the Columbus Day holiday has been a time for us to travel as a family. This year was no different as we ventured to Western New York State to visit the Arcade & Attica railroad. In celebration of 50 years of passenger excursions the Arcade & Attica was running several steam passenger trips. My two sons and wife rode the trip while I followed along. Unfortunately the weather was horrible with rain and more rain. Photographic opportunity was very thin this day until a family showed up at a local grade crossing to witness the passage of the mighty steam engine. Now a photographic opportunity existed.
