This was part of a project to capture animals from their own perspective. The use of an extreme wide angle lens allows the viewer an intimacy that is otherwise lost with the telephoto lenses that are normally used for wildlife photography. This is a working lighthouse by the Coast Guard in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Fort Williams and the lighthouse area are maintained by the local citizens and no admission fee is required.
