Acadia National Park is special any time of the year but it really shines during autumn. I went hiking with a friend up Sargent Mountain and she was collecting leaves along the way. I love to capture my subjects in different ways. During this photo shoot in the park, they were all walking together in front of me. I noticed the way the sun was hitting them, and wanted to capture the shot from the dog's perspective. I think this is a beautiful image of owners and their pets. This is a shot of the lights that shine from Ground Zero. As a resident of New York City, I continually venture out on the anniversary and photograph the twin beams that shine toward heaven to remind us of that day... a day that most of us will never forget.
