This colorful architecture picture was taken in Madrid, Spain at the Santa Maria la Real de la Almudena Cathedral. The building of the cathedral started in 1883 and completed in 1993. The interior neo-gothic style is uniquely modern with pop-art decor and a splash of colors. This picture is special to me because I took it on my last day together with my best friend. I had taken it in Paris, France on July 1, 2012. The Effiel Tower is where boys became men and asked the ones the loved to marry them. Where your entire view on life is changed just by viewing the city from a different perspective.
