"One of the Boys" is about Noah, who is one of Danville High Schools football coaches. Noah comes to every game to watch his dad and the boys play football. On Saturday mornings he gets to be on the field and switch out the footballs. Here he is with his dad and the players watching the game...being one of the boys. I took this picture in Guildford (UK) High Street in Dec 2006. The street was beautifully decorated with Holiday lights, but what I was after were photos with motion blur effects I could achieve with my camera by simply moving it in different directions. Alexandr is 80. He lived in the country Krugloye near the city I live in. He is my friend's father. My friend lives in Siberia, 3000 km from here. He visited his father each year. This summer Alexandr's house was burned down. My friend took him to Siberia and now I'm not sure if I will see him again, it's SO far away. I took Alexandr's portrait in August 2007 before they went to far away journey. It's very touching, that Alexandr liked when I took his photos.
