I was siting near Morro Rock taking pictures of the sunset and the surfer came in as the light faded and just kept looking back at the sun as if he was dissapointed that the day was over. He looked over his shoulder back at the waves and the setting sun all the way back to his car -- kind of giving it the "I'll be back look." This image was taken not far from my home early one morning in early May. Our winter was extremely brutal this year, and it almost seemed that people were waiting until the "warm" weather set in to display their flags. One morning I walked out to my car and noticed my neighbor had hung their flag. The lighting was great and the sky was beautiful.
