Bristol, RI is home to the oldest Fourth of July parade in the country. While on my year-long 50-state tour of the U.S. I found myself there for their annual celebration. In addition to the usual Fourth of July festivities, they have a carnival with lots of great rides. The skies and colors were beautiful that night. After purchasing a new camera, I headed to Washington D.C. to try to take photos of the memorials and monuments from a different angle. While walking from Arlington National Park across the Arlington Memorial Bridge, I noticed this interesting view of the Lincoln Memorial.
