I chose this picture because of the vibrant colours and interesting stripes of the flower. I like the bold colour of the whole image. I took the photograph for part of my A-level photography course as the theme was 'Contrast', and i think the colours match the theme of contrast and the theme I picked for this submition. Fairfield boat house Victoria australia . I have always like this place since I was a kid . I have seen many people photograph this area but it has always been at day time , so I wanted to be different . I love painting with light so I decided this was what i was going to do . As I already new what it looked like , I came at night time and took five images at different exposures and painting different parts of the scene .
