A beautiful sunset at the beach in the pretty village of Oostkapelle in Netherlands

This photo captures the look of love on the little girl's face as well as the puppy's face as it is being hugged. Picture was taken of my daughter's softball coaches' child and a puppy as they both relaxed during the softball game.

This is special to me because it reminds me of happiness. And it is a rare moment between two sisters.

I just loved watching this sweetheart taking in the spectacular mid-summer view of the prairie. This picture was taken on a Manitoba Canada country road.

A day at the museum, seems a bit cliche. But he insisted since it was my first time. I enjoyed every moment of it, walking around and touching the paintings and sculptures like a little curious child. I’d say each moment spent that day felt more magical than it already was.

I took my kids down to the creek below our house in Alabama for some photos. It is so beautiful there. The water flows over the road and the lighting is just perfect under the shade of the trees. This picture was my favorite because it wasn't posed. My son picked up a "cool" rock and his sister said, "Let me see!".

I just love when I can get a beautiful Chattanooga Tn Sunset. In addition to the sunset a siloet of a young boy was captured fishing on the boat ramp with his father at the Tennessee Riverpark.

I’ve often been told I don’t smile or laugh as much as I use to. Well today in middle of a memory a laugh and smile was caught on camera perfectly. I’m just glad it didn’t blur out and stayed in focus. It’s the simple things in life that sometimes make us laugh the most.

Benjamin started school last week and he didn't have the best time. So for Monday morning he was allowed to only do a half day. With only a half day, that gives us more time for adventures. He never held his sisters' hand before but he was so happy about his half day that he would do anything. 

I had my Canon A1 inside my rucksack with much other stuff in Romania and the back just opened itself. First I was on the edge of despair because these were precious holiday photos and my digital camera had been stolen a few days back, but when I got the results, I was positively surprised about the beautiful effect. This was shot on Kodak Ektar 100, my favorite color film.

This picture is special to me because it captures my boy's innocent smile, like a moment of true joy captured directly from the heart. It was taken within our house with just the morning light coming in through the window. It will remain as one my prized possessions among the family photographs.

This is my best friend's daughter. I was there when she was born, and she is so incredibly special to me. I took this photo over the summer at our cabin in Northern Michigan. It embodies everything about her so perfectly: her personality, her innocence, her unique wisdom for someone her age. She is amazing.
