I am a 17 year old kid and I got my start in photography when I was handed a 35mm camera and asked to document an event. I enjoy shooting from a photo journalism stand-point and I absolutly love to photograph things some might call trash. This picture is very special to me because it was taken in Rwanda, Africa. There are moments hiking in the mountains that are difficult to capture because of the light and time of day. I was so pleased when everything worked in this photo. I took the picture September of 2007 in the mountains of Idaho. The lake is on the Norton Lakes trail in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. I think of this picture as a "thank you" to nature.
