KODAK MOMENT of the Day

This photo was taken of my partner Justine on our first trip to Yosemite National Park. She often loves to climb trees, and you can see by her smile how happy she is doing it.
We shoot mostly film together, and we always enjoy how it places us in a moment that we get to enjoy silently, lovingly, and with each other. There’s no better moment than the one right now. 

Exploring all the viable possibilities to live rent-free without any bill to pay.

Cloudy day on the beach 

During my journey through Tobermory, Ontario, Canada, as the sun dipped towards the horizon, the tranquil waters shimmered and rippled. A couple frolicked by the shore, playfully splashing in the water while basking in the beauty of the setting sun. The sun's rays painted their silhouettes against the sky, and I captured the moment with my camera.

I just dropped my heart off in First Grade. Praying she soars and thrives this year while sharing her joy everywhere she goes!

This was my second self-organized photo shoot, and I feel fortunate that my friend volunteered to be my model. As a photographer, I am continuously learning and evolving, and occasionally, I reflect on past experiences, imagining how I could have approached things differently. Nevertheless, I must admit that this particular photo remains to be one of my favourites.

He used to be afraid of fountains, but this day  he went inside without hesitation.

I felt his growth.

🐱 Best friends. A candid capture of the everyday life

I was heavily inspired by the colors and theme of Malibu Barbie. I had a vision of my four year old daughter in her pink swimsuit, a disco ball and sunnies by the pool. My very own Barbie girl. I grabbed these three items and went to work in Adobe Photoshop to bring my vision to life. A little bit of real life, some fantasy and a whole Summer vibe.

Series of fortunate events 🫶🏼

I was sunbathing at the beach when suddenly these paragliders landed just a few meters away without ever touching a single person, not even with their wing! Quite impressive 😊

Inspired by Finnish design to wear my funkiest (but still unwrinkled) outfit, I visited my onetime city on a glorious sunny day by the Gulf of Finland.

Hats off to you, Helsinki! You've got the IT factor!

After popping a bottle of Champagne, the couple enjoyed a nice walk at their backyard and the golden hour sunlight just made this moment even magical and surreal. 

My grandson loves his new kitty and gives it sticky fingered hugs.

Our Airedale Terrier, Ruthie Bader, loves everyone in the family but she knows our daughter, Eve, gives the best belly rubs. I took this photo just before Eve headed back to grad school… And now I am trying to fill her role as Ruth’s best friend.

Paperwater and I collaborated for a Miami Music Week event in Miami Beach and as the party was starting, Eddy began to play some dope tunes with a friend by his side. They looked so cool and in to what they were doing that I had to capture the moment on Portra800 35mm film.

My Black-Eyed Susans always start to take over my garden during this time of the year, so we had a little fun with them.

Underwater shot with disposable Kodak waterproof in Pserimos Island, Greece 

Shot on Portra 400 with a Mamiya 645 in march 2023. This was my very first time shooting film and also first time scanning negatives at home. My partner was kind enough to accept modeling for me, so we decided to have a walk through our neighborhood and the golden hour magic did the rest. Portra gave me those gorgeous golden skin tones that everybody loves.

The moment you finish your holiday book and get ready for the drinks with friends 

My oldest daughter of three started Ukulele lessons and is loving it! She has memorized the first song that she learned (Happy Birthday)! I am hoping that she sticks with it over the next few years!

A quick moment on a hot day, the green waters of Boston Harbor slapping lazily against the embankment rocks. The sun shimmers on the calm surface; she is at peace.

My brother and I decided to take a spontaneous sunset hike this summer. On short time, we moved fast to reach the summit.

During this hike, the light began to filter through the woods. I was carrying my Canon Ae-1 and had to capture the moment (No pun intended!). I was fortunate to get this photo while using one of my favorite Kodak films. 

A beautiful summer afternoon in Washington state. Good vibes, great people and bubbles in the air. You can’t ask for more. 

Harun loves it when I take photos of him. He loves modeling in front of the camera. I chose this photo for whiskers Wednesday, because it shows off his amazing whiskers. 

It was in Le Touquet, northern France. Close to the beach, I saw this old carrousel with many families and kids around. I'm always looking for vintage images so I needed to get closer and create !
I saw this little girl having fun, she was so cute. I waited many carrousel rides to get "The Moment".
I'm very happy with the result and the emotion coming from the image !

Her mom got a fan and she wanted to use it before her mom take it to her office. So she asked "Do you want to do photoshoot?". She enjoyed a new fan a little bit and her mom got some pictures. That was a win win situation.
 

We live in the Arctic and we were on a boat in front of a massive glacier. My son always takes my camera to photograph all the beautiful nature around us. It sometimes makes me a bit nervous to see him walking around with my (professional) camera as if it is a toy. 😬😅

That was a great experience and view with 360° views of the city from 219.5 metres above Downtown Dubai.

初夏のある日、猫ちゃんたちが

たくさんいる島へ…

すごく暑い日でしたが

たくさんの猫ちゃんたちに癒やされました。

These people - where do I even start? My bestie girls, my hubby, our guy gang. These people are OUR people and I’m just so grateful that we have a special group of people, especially on our wedding day, to surround us with love and make the most magical memories with us. Our circle is small but oh so mighty. Friends are the family you choose. 🤍🥂💍

Being intentional about EVERYTHING because I deserve it. I deserve this happiness, this peace, and this overflow.
 

Visiting Miami to attend a friends wedding with my partner. 

My fiancée and I were taking pictures in front of a church in a small village, Undredal, at the base of a fjord in Norway. There was something “pristine” about the colors and setting that felt right for us to take some engagement style pictures.

After a day filled with misty autumn light and wide yellow fields, I found myself standing up here in midst of the bluest hour of the day. I used to have a hard time letting days go, always craving more. More time, more light, more of this moment. But nowadays, I find a strange comfort in fleeting moments, in days fading away, though, while immersing myself in them, my heart is never quiet . 

Raph is a great colleague who quickly became a great friend ! We went fishing for a weekend, together with another good friend ! Raph also takes pictures and we like to pose for each other without taking ourselves to seriously and this field was the perfect background !

One summer‘s day in Japan. It’s another hot day today, but she is ready to enjoy this summer with passion and the lovely smile.

This is a candid photo wherein father and daughter were having quality time together watching funny videos on mobile.

While walking around the state fair, I happened to catch this wholesome moment between father and daughter. She was completely mesmerized by the spinning ride and soon begged her dad to let her go next.
