Enjoying sunrise at this place is something special every single time. You sit there in the cold and you wait until the first light touches this iconic mountain. And it just looks so good with the reflection in this mountain lake.

On a frosty morning, I set off with a friend to this beautiful rock. The photo was taken shortly before sunrise.

A sunny September day while sailing on a tour in the innermost part of Billefjorden in the High Arctic archipelago of Svalbard. Two fellow passengers stopped at the bow railing of our ship to look out towards the glacier Nordenskiöldbreen in the background. The colours of their clothing together with the bright blue fjord, glacier and clear skies in the background  at that moment made for a fantastic combination of tones I just had to capture on film.

Walking by some lifeguards one gloomy day on the coast and was happy to see how perfectly they were all positioned in their bright jackets. Just a snapshot but it turned into one of my favorite pictures from that road trip.

Getting ready for The Nutcracker

A self portrait I decided to capture to create some festive memories with my bump. Created in the hope of recreating with my baby next Christmas 

Santa has earned a much needed nap. Until next year. 

An image captured in the midst of a winter ascent of a peak in The Eastern Sierra. One foot in front of the other, ice axe in hand and crampons on our feet. Cold and so tired, but even more so stoked, to be in such an incredible environment, this is what mountain adventures are all about.

From one of the first rolls of film that I ever shot back in 2021 on my friend Jerrys' Nikon f401 and Kodak Gold. Jerry is also the person featured in the picture.

A beautiful morning walk after a severe snow storm in Lake Tahoe. So calm and peacefull.  Had the opportunity to take great shots for Venture Grooming. 

Last light before the sun disappears behind the mountains - Lac des Gaillands

A mom and her young daughter walk up the hill in Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The air is getting cooler, and the leaves are changing, but their loving bond makes this moment seem warm. Their matching pink jackets are like flowers in the lush and green gardens.

My family holiday photoshoot 

This moment was captured with my Pentax 67 using Kodak Ektar 100. I felt quite fortunate to have had Ektar loaded in the camera when I came across this composition. The vivid baby blue of the lake really comes through on this film stock!

Mountain Escape in  Sri Lanka.  Untouched and Enless nature.

I came across this beautiful horse during a hike in Juta, Georgia. There were some clouds and I stood in front of him for about 3 minutes waiting for the perfect light. While I was waiting, I took this photo. As soon as the perfect light arrived, he turned around and walked away.

Exploring Cornish tors during October golden hour

"You may now kiss your bride." This was snapped the moment the newlyweds kissed, responding to being pronounced husband and wife. 

I captured this moment near the Vistula River in Warsaw. The intimacy of reading together caught my eye.

I always love watching people doing something together, especially reading. What a quality and lovely time spending! 

I just tested my new Mamiya 7 and I wanted to know if I could do nice potraits with the 65mm F4 and with a rangefinder. I never had a rangefinder before accept the BESSA R I tested which belongs to my roommate. 

Just arrived to the hotel in a beautiful sunset and a swan gave me a warm welcome. I felt like i had to take some photos. 📷😊🎄

Friends, just married at the Madonna Inn. A beautiful day celebrating two people who found each other coming together.

With Spring and Summer come little moments of rebirth, like these flowers springing forth from the dirt. A double exposure captured on medium format Kodak T-Max 400.

These photos was taken when my family visited a local park.

With monkeys all around, I quickly took this shot, in an attempt to capture this breathtaking view of the waves crashing against the cliffs of the Uluwatu Template in Bali, Indonesia. It is in moments like this that the continuing desire to experience and appreciate more of the world comes. 

Sunset in the Polish mountains

The streets and parks of Madrid are quite lively with musicians and I had the pleasure of not only enjoying this guitarists' music but also witnessing his radiating joy at the Parque de la Montana. Even though I wasn't able to converse with him due to the language barrier, I truly hope he knows how much joy and life he brought to that corner of the park from him and his guitar. 

The photograph shows my partner caressing a cat in our field. It’s autumn and it’s cold: clothes show it. The rain has also given us a fantastic green: lots of grass. The cloudy day provides optimal light for the scene.

Halfway between a pyramidal composition and a simple double portrait in a natural environment, I like the composition, the lines and especially the photographic film used: Kodak Vision 3 500T (5219), with a great latitude of exposure and a wide detail in lights and shadows.

It was the coldest day in 20 years in Fredrikstad. I'd never shot winter-scenery on film before. My light-meter malfunctioned because of the temperqture, so I had to trust my knowledge regarding reading the light. Im so proud of the results!

Right after a thunderstorm the scene turned pretty idyllic within a few moments, allowing me to capture this peaceful scene on film.

It was shot on Kodak Portra 400 120 film on the Mamiya 7. Developed and scanned by @urbanfilmlab

森林の間から光が降り注いだ日。

September 2023, Poland. One day at the garden plot outside of town. A local cat came by to make a visit and of course, get some food.

She is patiently waiting with those curious eyes, almost like she would be saying
"Ok human. I like you and the cat food you've brought me... but I like your food even more! Gimme some of yours. I want the good stuff." 🤣

Early bus trip, eyes barely opening up, hazy morning, undeniable views.

My son was super happy we got some snow and even though it was only two inches , he made the best of his experience. 

While in Jamaica, I was walking down on the beach and came upon a gentleman selling souvenirs. As I stopped to look at what he was selling he asked if I was enjoying my vacation. We chatted for a bit then I asked if I could take a picture of him and he agreed. I wanted to not only capture the beauty of the island but also show the beauty of its people.

It was a day straight out of an Italian summer dream, sun-kissed and oh-so-glorious, on the enchanting shores of Lake Garda.  You know, the kind that makes you wanna dance like nobody’s watching. Sunlight painted everything in this golden glow, and you could practically taste the dolce vita in the air. The vibrant summer vibe wrapped around us like a warm hug.  But wait, there is more to this day — it was a middle of our honeymoon.

I wasn’t chasing postcard-perfect shots. Nah, I was after something deeper.  It was a special day and for me it was about bottling up the essence of that that Italian summer energy and our youth, preserving it for eternity. And there it was – the magic of everyday life. It was like a symphony of moments, each telling a different story. So for me it is more than just a photo – it’s a piece of our love story that we can revisit anytime we want to relive that magic.
