KODAK MOMENT of the Day

One summer evening at Third Beach, I met up with Massey and captured one of my all-time favorite portrait shots.🦋

I had a trip to LA 2 weeks ago and I visited the Venice Beach. The skatepark there is very famous and there were a lot of people skateboarding before the sunset, this is the first picture of the roll so that it only shows part of the frame. It's difficult to shoot using film when people are moving given the light condition and shutter speed, but this one looks not bad.

First time shooting analog.

Every year for my son’s birthday I sneak balloons into his room while he’s sleeping and he wakes up to a surprise balloon party to start his big day! It is fun for us all and his joy is priceless.

Walking through Regent's Park trying to find the trace of the first ones, but it was falling in the rain, the flowers had not yet opened, and the trees were like snow.

Continue walking through Regent’s Park to catch up with the hit of the One Day Netlix series release and reach Primrose Hill, where Dexter and Emma met for a picnic for one of the year.

The road was still muddy and the sky was grey; when climbing to the top of the hill, the trees turned from gray to golden, just in time to set the sun. Looking at the London skyline, gradually a small stir came from the crowd, the original umbrella refracted the sun, the rainbow crossed the sky, adding colorful joy to golden hour.

When it comes to leaving, the sky no longer shines, the golden light turns into another relatively dim rainbow, contrasting color refracting and parallel. Only later did I realize this was the neon phenomenon of double rainbow.

Unexpectedly met, but achieved a good moment. Memories shared with friends are not lost.

Serendipity.

It was one of the most magical moments of the trip to the French Pyrenees. After spending the night camping at the Montagnon Peak, watching the sunrise by the lake with a cup of coffee in hand was the best way to start a new day.

The photo shows my sister Amelia, during our family holidays in Lombardy, Italy. We spent the most time by Lake Iseo (where picture was taken), which isn't as touristic as Como or Garda, but it has unique peaceful vibe. This picture is a souvenir of this blissful time.

Being a grandma is probably the best gift ever. I try to capture every moment because moments like these don’t last forever.

The sunlight poured into the room like liquid gold, making everything glow. I lay there, soaking up the last warmth of summer. It was August 31st, and Prague still held on to the season despite September knocking at the door. I wasn't in a hurry to welcome the next month. The film roll, almost forgotten since the vacation, had one more story to tell.

First-world problems, I thought. The world outside was still sweltering, with a heatwave that didn't want to leave. But here, lying on the cool floor, I was in between seasons, feeling nostalgic and indifferent at the same time. The only sound breaking the silence was the gentle hum of the fan, a soothing melody that accompanied my lazy goodbye to the fading freedom of the sun-soaked days.

This photo captures a moment from when I was looking after my friend's cats while they were off traveling. One of the cats sat calmly, observing the world with a look of curiosity, while the other found itself mesmerized by its own reflection in a mirror. The scene turned into an adorable moment of confusion and wonder, perfectly encapsulating the playful and curious nature of cats. The quiet atmosphere of the room, paired with their amusing expressions, made this simple moment something worth remembering.

As a child, I was playful, full of energy, and quite mischievous. 

She somehow brings back memories of my childhood.

My brother, Evan, took an extremely admirable risk and adventure into the uncomfortable yet ambitious endeavor of quitting his job and moving out of our hometown for a dream pursuit of being an entrepreneur. I visited the city of Boulder, CO which he now resides to visit him and we hiked Rocky Mountain National Park. This picture was taken of him on our last trail. This was the first time I saw him in the 5 months since he left, and this photo represents brotherly reunion and unsupervised comrodary. The photo is title “Black Bear on the rocks” after his new business, Black Bear Window Cleaning.

I titled this photo of my husband in Tintagel as home, not only because he is my home, but this place holds a special place in our hearts, having got engaged in Tintagel, fallen in love whilst falling in love with its history, and its name weaves through our youngest child’s and my business, it all just feels like home ♥️

This photo was taken at Le Jardin Exotique which is a beautiful garden located at the very top of the hill in the Èze village, and it overlooks the stunning Riviera coastline. Shot on Kodak Ultramax 400 :)

My friends and I were hanging out at the Old Wethersfield Porch Fest enjoying a few bottles of wine outside of Vino Crudo (beautiful natural wine shop) when these too walked up. They sat and asked about my camera and what we were doing. My M6 goes everywhere with me I told them and we went along in conversation. When the time was right I grabbed a few candids of them to remember my experience together. Most of my photography I’d capturing wherever life takes me. This truly was a lovely moment.

Taken on a sunny evening in the beautiful Greek island of Hydra. The island is only accessible by horse and carriage or foot, making it a haven for the animals that live there. I captured this moment on my walk back to our boat from a local cliff jumping spot, this beautiful cat caught my eye and I had to take a snap before going off to enjoy the golden rays of the sunset myself.

The weather 

In life it‘s hard to find your balance but spending time in nature and waking up in a beautiful place like that always grounds you and balances out this fast life. 

Dave had been away for almost four weeks caring for his Mum after surgery and so we'd barely seen him. We surprised the kids with a day out at the zoo together - they knew I was taking them to the zoo but they didn't know Dad was coming too - we were all very giddy to be back together

Every year, our job goes all out for Halloween. This year, my team decided to do Beauty and The Beast theme. I went as The Beast, and loved every moment of it, because you don’t always have to be a Princess. 

Do cats enjoy the beauty of sunset? 

This is me with Pau, my seven months old (at the moment of the photo) son. He enjoys laughing at his father and always ask to wear something similar to me (hats, glasses...) so I decided to capture one of this moments meanwhile we were watering at his grandfather's orchard.

We look like we have recorded a new album of rural hip hop! 🥲

The photo was taken on my first ever hike in 2020 and holds a special place in my heart. Hiking from Poland to Slovakia in a day was such an incredible experience and the scenery couldn't have been any more beautiful 🥺

Fall photoshoot 

Captured my two friends having a conversation by the sea in Cyprus. I love the way the film has captured this, I think it shows that it’s a nice moment between friends both conversationally and setting, and that’s exactly how I looked at it when deciding to sneak this shot.

This moment was the first time we hung out, we met through work and we share lots of things in common - especially film! This day we wanted to have fun shooting her canon super 8. So I shot her candid portrait through the cafe window!
