Deadhorse Point
A photo of Dead Horse Point, Canyonlands, UT. It is said that a lot of horses died of thirst at this point. The horses could see the river (2,000 feet below) but could not access it. They were "blocked" by a fence made of branches "accidentally" left closed by the cowboys. This is also 250 million years of erosion. Isn't it spectacular?
