Well these places give me internal satisfaction, they calm me, they fill me up with energy, strength to push forward in life! They help me to transcend time and space in my mind and help me to cope with all the negativity of the world. I am eternally blessed to be able to experience nature as it is and to explore the unexplored!

My sister and I have always grown up traveling the national parks together. We were there for my grandparents celebration of life. Our grandparents always took goofy photos of us having fun in these beautiful places. It only felt right to keep the  tradition going.

I took this photo as part of a series of film portraits when I was documenting a 3-day wedding celebration with my husband Nahuel Aseff. I was capturing moments of the guests and landscapes on film and it was taken in Punta Mita, Mexico.

Enjoying the sunset

During the dry winter in Minnesota 2023, I decided to take a trip to Miami with my Girlfriend to meet her family. We had an evening at her childhood home over south in Miami Florida after a full day of thrifting and shopping for clothes. 

We shared stories memories and culture through the lens of Blackness and enriched our happiness enjoying the warmth of the tropical sun. 

Captured is a self-portrait of I and my significant other, Dalayni Etienne hugging each other before enjoying our night with the family. 

It is an honor to be given this opportunity and I hope to gain more in my future of film photography!
