Captured a moment during sunset of a couple fishing in Nonesuch Cove in Scarborough, Maine. It turned out to be some of my favorite shots ever.

A young family enjoying a breathtaking view of the Alhambra on a hot, sunny day in Granada, Spain. The combination of moments in this frame prompted me to press the shutter: the father immortalizing the iconic view, coupled with the joy of shared moments between mom and daughter, and the kid with the Spanish soccer jersey looking elsewhere, oblivious to the enduring allure of the Spanish treasure that he has in front of his eyes.

I’m a documentary family photographer, and this photo was taken in Atlanta during a family photo session on a hot summer day. 

On this photo is me climbing iconic and challenging Passo Gavia, one of the featured segments in Giro d’Italia. 

i’ve never officially introduced myself on here, but here we are - my name is Chelsea, and I live in Vancouver, BC Canada. I have always been super interested in photography and have always had cameras and experimented with different editing styles. About 8 months ago I purchased a fuji camera in hopes I would capture beautiful film like images and become better at taking photos. Since then I have taken many photos and learned a ton along the way, from learning the exposure triangle, to composition and what lighting conditions work best depending on your subject. I am now shooting with film and learning more about how it all works, and I gotta say… there’s nothing quite like film. My favourite things to shoot are landscape, street life, people and architecture. Shadows, light and color are what I am always searching for. Oh, and fun fact - I have an identical twin!

Strolling through Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade, Serbia at sunset, I saw a couple sitting on a ledge overlooking the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers. You can see into New Belgrade across the river. 

This was one of my favorite moments from that evening as you could tell this couple was simply enjoying being in each other’s presence.

As a child, I was playful, full of energy, and quite mischievous. 

She somehow brings back memories of my childhood.

It was my first time in Jeju, and I was in awe of the nature there. 

I walk the Oceanside pier a lot for any street moments. The boy with the towel caught my eye, then saw the layer of of the angled shadows. And the lines on the wall. I made a quick shot before he can run out of frame. 

This is my cat, Alaska. I had to take this photo because the Sun just hits so perfectly and she’s cute as always 

Went to the Georgia Renaissance Festival, and wanted to capture people in there costumes just having fun or living out their fantasies. Also it was my first time shooting Gold 200. Camera was is the yashica mat

Travel with your partner 

My dear friends Amina and Renato spotted relaxing as we watch the sunset over the beautiful cliffs of Cheddar Gorge, situated in the heart of Somerset. We hiked up along the picturesque trail, accompanied by goats along the way, enjoying each others company and the views surrounding us; providing a much needed break from our daily lives in London.

 There were so many bento boxes to choose from…especially if you’re a fish lover which none of us are.😂 Some looked more appealing than others, some definitely tasted better than others. It was fun to try.

Many people ask why do you go to these places? How do you find them? Why do you go alone? Well these places give me internal satisfaction, they calm me, they fill me up with energy, strength to push forward in life! They help me to transcend time and space in my mind and help me to cope with all the negativity of the world. I am eternally blessed to be able to experience nature as it is and to explore the unexplored!

Romantic is the most beautiful mood

My sister and I have always grown up traveling the national parks together. We were there for my grandparents celebration of life. Our grandparents always took goofy photos of us having fun in these beautiful places. It only felt right to keep the  tradition going.
