That was one of those moments when I thought to myself, "Oh yeah, I've got this!" I sat to relax and admire the beauty of nature, mountains, fog, tranquility, and the sun that was about to set. After walking up the mountain for more than 7 kilometers, I felt truly happy and relaxed.

I was about to light a cigarette, with my camera hanging around my neck, when my boyfriend pointed out that a cat had sat on the statue's crown behind me. I dropped everything to capture it in this photo.  It took only 30 seconds, after which it left. I learned that you always have to be in the present moment when taking pictures, otherwise, who knows what you might miss?!

I really liked the style and energy of this lady I saw in Sapanca, where we went for a trip. I photographed it in the wonderful nature and greenery of Sapanca. 

Took a solo trip to Paris and wondered the streets of Paris after going to the popular tourist spot to see the tour and stumbled on a park with this view and I was one of only 3 people in this spot. So naturally I had to get a pic!

Morning exploring in the Oregon dunes with Zelda. I recently started shooting film and was excited to test out Porta 800. After an hour of exploring, Zelda and I heard a pack of coyotes in the nearby woods. It sounded uncomfortably close so we decided to quickly explore in the opposite direction. After our unplanned cardio session, we stumbled upon this spot where we found our shot.

 March in Ketchikan, Alaska. Friends gearing up to jump in the water at the first sign of spring sunshine. 

To say I was heartbroken to leave is a massive understatement. We only stayed two nights in Tagazhout but the time we spent there genuinely changed my view of the world. The sun, the people, the surf, all such a stark contrast to London. I loved every second of it.

While we were playing with bubbles outside, some parrots appeared on our roof and for a while they stayed there singing... it seemed like they were watching us..

We enjoyed taking our two oldest boys to the New Orleans Pelicans v. Spurs game. They cheered and danced the entire night. A fun family memory that we will always cherish. 

On the road in Ha Giang near the Doc Tham Ma viewpoint in Ha Giang, Vietnam is a small market where they sell flowers. The local girls carry them on their back.

Intimate couples photo in Charleston, SC.

Every year, on Easter Sunday, there is an event called “Bring Your Own Big Wheel” where people race down a street with many twists and turns in a “big wheel”.  A big wheel in this case can be anything with wheels, but more often than not, is supposed to be for children: a Barbie jeep, a tricycle, etc.

The event is fun, chaotic, whimsical, silly, and really feels like the epitome of San Francisco energy. People dress up in bold/whacky outfits, sometimes even costumes, so you can usually tell who is attending. 

I spotted this family about a block away walking in the direction of the event.  From mismatching suit to the frog purse, they looked just fabulous.  I automatically assumed they were attending the event, until I forgot that it was also Easter.   They very well could have been on their way to a Brunch or even a Religious Service. In my mind, they did all three. 

This photo to me captures the essence of San Francisco and the duality of that beautiful, colorful day.

During the visit to the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul it’s common to see many people wearing the traditional ’hanbok’ dress.

The moment I saw this group of girls taking photos and videos of their friend I couldn’t resist and take one of the moment. I loved the contrast between  tradition and modern.

It was the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen as me & my clients ran around on the beach soaking up every moment. Their love & joy truly reminded me of Noah & Allie from The Notebook so I found my favorite quote & it fit perfectly with the moments we captured! 

”They're shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, fleeting glimpse of eternity, and in a flash they're gone.”

The photo was taken early morning as the sun rose across Aguille du Midi, was unique to be the only non climbers/skiers on the mountain which made the moment feel extra special.

My favorite moment was when everyone started sneezing and sniffling every single time the wind picked up because we all forgot to take an antihistamine before visiting the desert wildflowers.

Dalí likes cameras and to be photographed, the perfect model when testing a camera, lens or film. Here I was testing the new to me Nikon 85mm f1.8D, on my Nikon F5 👌🏼Portra 800 renders that pink nose and those green eyes like no other. I love him to pieces.

Had the most fun day beach hopping in the Orange County 🏄‍♂️ 🌴 - wish we lived here, such a dreamy place 💚

This was such a special moment captured of a close friend of mine. We had talked about the beauty and interpersonal moments that come with Black hair. I stayed with her for over 7 hours as she did her hair from start to finish, Afro to braids. Not only was it a monumental day for us as friends and creative collaborators, but it connected us both to our roots and  forced us to confront the complexities with our own Black hair.
