This picture was shot with Kodak Tmax 3200, and is as special as the location is magic. I'd like people to see it and let me know what they think...

I took this photo in February 2007 in Muizenberg, South Africa. It was a beautiful day in a stunningly scenic part of the world. These colourful beach huts look so vivid against the clear blue sky. This is a great reminder of a wonderful holiday!

She is a beautiful, soft, loving kid and this photo shows it all! She's just relaxing in the grass...

This is a compilation of several photos. All were shot in Chandler, Arizona on a rainy morning. I think it relates to the Artistic/ Creative theme because it allowed me to be creative on a "rainy day" with my photography.

My wife is a professional ballet dancer with the Boston Ballet, and I took this photograph of her in the ballet studio during her practice. I love the photograph for it's lighting and composition--but it's my wife who is the main subject. She makes the photo real by fixing her pointe shoes.

What a beauty she is! As a military spouse there is no sight more beautiful than our flag flying high to remind us what our soldiers are fighting for.

I recently had the privilege of photographing a former skipper of a PT boat during WWII. He piloted a small craft in the Pacific for nearly a year and had some terrific sea tales....especially being "...the only PT boat commander who didn't know JFK personally." SC1051 was the name assigned to his vessel. He just happened to be my American History professor 20 years ago this year. Great fellow!

This den is across the drive and just in back of my house. The fox had 8 babies which is quit unusual. This little guy didn't mind my walking by and taking pictures. They were so much fun to watch playing in the sun.

Marks the memory of a 3,000 mile motorcycle trip across the West. Taken in the plains of Eastern Wyoming, approaching the mountains, in August 2006. It relates to the theme of, "Life is a journey, not a destination."

This picture captures the excitment in my brothers for being at the ocean. I took this picture at Half Moon Bay, California.

Taken in Yellowstone in 2006, the elk bugling in the cold morning mist is primeval, and not in the realm of experience for a kid who grew up in the Bronx.

The cosmos in the North Georgia mountains this fall.

I took this picture at a local duck pond about a week ago. The little ducks were really cute. It relates to category "animals" because it's a picture of animals -- but it also goes along with the nature theme, being that the ducks are in their natural environment.

I love this photo because of the real happiness that you can feel from their smile. I took it on the last Thursday before Easter, on the roof of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem, Israel.

I was holding a sparkler and took this shot. It immediately reminded me of the Fourth of July, and how lucky I am to be an American. Picture taken in Moscow, PA.

I was bummed because the zoo was closing, and just happened to look up and see this one balloon break free. Last shot of the day...using the Action setting on my Kodak Z612. Taken in May 2007 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, OH.

Taken in July, 2006 at the Atlanta Peachtree Road Race. The racing legs were shot behind a spray of water along the route. It signifies endurance to me.

My wife took this picture with her new Kodak camera on a whale watch out of Plymouth. She was so proud of it. It was a great day all around.

This was taken at the Botanical Gardens in Denver. Shadow of the water lilly. So delicate and beautiful.

I took the picture in Salt Lake City. I saw the sun setting and tried to capture it right beneath this spire, and over the reflection pool. I love how the sunset turned out, the colors and the silhouette of the spire against the sunset.

I captured this photo to be as photojournalistic as possible showing poverty and life on the streets - in Manila, Philippines.

Experimenting with your camera can really help in getting a great image, and that's what I did and was able to capture this one. It was taken in Los Angeles, CA. in one of the Trader Joe's Store in the area. Nature and the enviroment is filled with beauty, even inside a grocery store. You just have to look and be observant, lol.

This Great White Heron caught a stick but quickly let go!

The dogs on the coast in the Netherlands are beautiful.

I noticed these children enjoying the simple wonder of this fountain at Navy Pier in Chicago, and just had to capture the moment.

This picture is of a trolley going by in a busy downtown section of the ecclectic Ybor City, Florida. The colors are so vivid as it was taken just before the sun went down. I chose travel and place as the category, since it's such unique town.

I get teased about photographing fingers and toes but during last summer's trip to CA, I found my niece's first moments in the surf near Monterrey irresistable.

This was taken at Mesa Verde National Park, just as the sun was about to go down below the mesa. I had traveled there on a cold November day. The ranger was kind to let me wander around while he continued with the group.

I recently went to Cainsville Utah with about 35 riders to photograph them. Cainsville Utah is a very desolate place that is not even on the map. But, it is extremely well known for motocross riding and is featured in most major motocross movies. I was very fortunate to catch my friends riding at this incredible location.

This is my dog Peanut. I just love her ears, they make me laugh. I took this pic just a couple days ago in my backyard as she played with her ball. It was a great action shot as her feet are still in the air...lol

Those shoes tasted bad.

I am an amteur entomologist. This insect was taken at a nature preserve in Delmar, NY. This was taken using a macro lens with a ringflash.

This is taken at our neighborhood pool. It is great to see kids enjoying the water...

This Big Horn Sheep was the dominant male of the herd and led 10-12 others within 20 feet of where I set up to watch the sunset in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA.

Children celebrate the beginning of summer vacation on Lake Ontario...it reminded me of the carefree days of summer as a youth.

Historic Brattonsville, in South Carolina is a preserved 18th century farm, that was the site of a US Revolutionary War battle. Every year, there is a re-enactment of the Battle of Huck's Defeat. The re-enactors, such as this gentleman, fully emerse themselves in their roles.
