This is my friend's dog Boise. We were out taking pictures and he begged to play. I had a great time taking pictures with my best friend on this particular day.

This is a picture of the Triborough Bridge. The picture is special to me because I really like the colors and composition of this subject. It relates to the theme I selected because so many people, like tourists, can see the beauty of the lights and scenery of NYC at night.

I am a big fan of giraffes. This picture was taken at the Okinawa Zoo. I was drawn to his neck, so I figured I'd better capture it before he decided to move.

Alexandr is 80. He lived in the country Krugloye near the city I live in. He is my friend's father. My friend lives in Siberia, 3000 km from here. He visited his father each year. This summer Alexandr's house was burned down. My friend took him to Siberia and now I'm not sure if I will see him again, it's SO far away. I took Alexandr's portrait in August 2007 before they went to far away journey. It's very touching, that Alexandr liked when I took his photos.

Sometimes the colors in a photo hide the intensity of the eyes. This is a Sumatran Tiger at the Pt. Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, WA.

I took this picture in Guildford (UK) High Street in Dec 2006. The street was beautifully decorated with Holiday lights, but what I was after were photos with motion blur effects I could achieve with my camera by simply moving it in different directions. After loads of photos, I got several fascinating shots--and this one I would like to share with you :) Happy holidays!

My boy, Maximilian! :)

In the fall and winter there is often a lot of frozen fog in the mornings. I was lucky enough to catch these two moving through it.

I was trying to get in the holiday spirit and decided to photograph some peppermints. I love the bright colors.

"One of the Boys" is about Noah, who is one of Danville High Schools football coaches. Noah comes to every game to watch his dad and the boys play football. On Saturday mornings he gets to be on the field and switch out the footballs. Here he is with his dad and the players watching the game...being one of the boys.

I love this image! She just didn't want to have her picture taken, and Daddy was the answer to all her fear.

Winter is on it's way here so what better way to blast into it then with some snowboarding!! This was a fun action shot for a recent senior session.

I had been shooting stained glass in this church. When I came out I looked up and saw this wonderful sky,it really was an inspirational moment for me. Co.Kerry,Ireland. November 2007.

While visiting in Denver, I discovered a really big blue bear in front of their civic center, and it's whimsical nature captures ones imagination. Picture taken 2-16-06.

I enjoy this picture because it's whimsical and funny. This is my son's red eyed tree frog, Trickster. I bought this ornament on eBay and hung it from the banana stand and purchased cloud paper from the scrapbook store. Waited for some afternoon light to come in through the window and voila - Froggy Poppins was born. I then rotated the image 35 degrees to make it look more realistic and cloned out the ornament string. Hope you enjoy!

My husband loves to have these around for the holiday's!

As the early morning winter fog rolled in I quickly went the our local arboretum and made a series of images. This one was the best I made that day!

This is a photo of my daughter and brings back the joy of my own childhood -- waiting patiently (and sometimes not so patiently) for Santa to arrive.

This is the time of year that Rudolph just pops up!

My family photo, taken by me. It was a lot of fun. My inspiration was the song 'I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus'. Doesn't always work out how I plan it though. If you'll notice, each child is doing his/her own thing. :) Merry Christmas!

This photo is of our little two year old boy Nicholas. He simply fell in-love with this Santa suite. I told him he was the "BEST looking Santa I had ever seen". He has such an infectious smile. You can't help but smile back! My heart will always remember this moment.

This is a picture of Zoe taken this past summer, outside on the deck by the pool. I love the detail of this photo and the fact it's so close up. In this photo Zoe was six months old. She is a beautiful black pug and the best pet we could ever ask for!

This gentle musician can be seen many places and always has time for a chat and a hug! He can play any instrument, but his sax is the sweetest!

I took this picture about 4 months ago just because I was thinking of ideas to use with an apple. I took a cut out of a man climbing a latter and placed it against the apple to make the apple appear larger than life. I think its a bit humorous due to the "larger than life" factor. Hope you enjoy!

It took 3 bottles of champagne, and a whole day of multiple takes to get this shot ! At the end of the day, the walls, tiles, clothes, camera, lenses everything was 'champagned' !

This photo is one of my favorites because I turned an ugly construction site into a surreal landscape. The stones are actually chips of granite that looked silver in the camera. 5 inches outside the frame, there was construction tape and bulldozers, but the image itself looks so peaceful.

Crater Lake is located in Southern Oregon, and is the deepest lake in the United States. The water is the most incredible blue you will ever see, it is breathtaking!

I find this child working hard in the fish trade...but it is for the fun...!!!

I love cows and the cows in the Netherlands are the most beautiful cows in the world!

Taken in Brugges, Belgium on a cool night in Sept 2007. We walked back to our room a different way and stumbled on this scene off a side street. I wonder how many thousands of travelers and residents have paused at this same spot.

Just a friend goofing around....making memories..LOL!

I took this picture in November 2007, in Troy, NH. I set my phone down in the chicken yard...was cleaning the coop..turned around and the chickens were comically attacking the phone. I had to run and get my camera!

This is a picture of some shoes, and an empty mug, previously filled with hot chocolate. It was taken on an Autumn day, and the photo gives me a warm feeling inside everytime I look at it.

This is special to me because of the reflection of clouds on water.

This is a photo of a dog I saw in a store in Delmar, NY. It was just a very placid bulldog eyeing the observer.

My youngest son... one of the great loves of my life.

I love this picture and how light and shades interact with each other in such beautiful scenery. I had to wait for the light from the tower to be in the right spot with the enough traffic in front of me. It was worth the wait.

I spotted a troop of vervet monkeys moving through Mountain Zebra National Park in South Africa. This mother hugged her baby close. I was taken with their eyes, both so intense.

This is my darling nephew. I bought the little hat for him before he was even born. I had this image in my head when I bought the hat. He means the world to me because he is my first nephew and he is the sweetest boy.

This is a picture I took of my wife while we were travelling together through Europe. This is the last leg of our trip through the Czech Republic. A wonderful journey.

In this picture the man and the horse look worn out after a long day. I like how they both have heads hanging down. It's very peaceful.

Some friends of ours just had a baby boy in Oregon, so I decided to set up a photo shoot and take some unusual pictures. It reminds me of sleeping in on a Sunday Morning.
