This was taken last weekend at Huntley Meadows Park in Fairfax County, VA. The fall colors were at their peak and it was just a beautiful sight! It's nature at it's artistic best.

The Cub Scouts made these heads for a local parade. This is them being silly with them afterwards.

I am relatively new to the state of Washington. I am captivated by the beauty of the state and of this mountain. The Mt. Rainier National park is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. This is my friend Jen who works with me. She is stunning and was so glad when she agreed to model for me in my living room. :) I love this shot as she looks so serene.

I captured these fallen leaves on the pavement as I found them.

This is my 5 year old nephew and his teammates. This picture is special to me because these kids our the future. They have so much fun just running around out there.

My Johnny. I loved the brown colors, & thought he looked super cool :)

I took this image while relaxing in my garden one evening. The light was perfect and illuminated the cosmos flower with the perfect amount of light at a perfect angle. Truly relaxing!

Seems an appropriate image for the coming July 4th.

Photo Story: This is a picture of my daughter and sister. It is special to me because I love seeing my daughter get excited about the American flag. It relates to the theme I chose because it was taken at the Veterans Day parade in Ithaca NY.

Mormon row in Grand Tetons National park is a street with remnants of an old LDS colony. This barn makes for a beautiful foreground object with the Tetons in the background. Thought I ought to share.

This spot, near Rosman, North Carolina, USA, is a great place for both waterfall fanciers and fishermen. As I was taking this shot, a young boy, just out of frame to the left, was catching an albino, rainbow trout.

This is my niece who is 30 months old. I took this picture as she was studying a flower. I just loved her expression.

This picture was taken in my yard just a few days before Thanksgiving in Bellevue, Nebraska. This picture is special to me because it shows the beauty of fall being overtaken by the upcoming winter.

I adore this picture because for one getting kids at the ages shown to lay in a circle is a major thing on it's own but what's so special to me is that we got them to all hold hands too!! How incredibly precious it that :)

My aunt always has lots of raspberries in her backyard around the same time each summer. I had to snap a picture of my sister holding some before she could eat them. The color was just so vivid.

I took this picture in my back yard in Rockwall Texas. It's my two puppies that I rescued at local animal shelters. They had just gotten a new kitty toy and I think the picture says it all.

Shortly after I bought a new camera, I was a "little" obsessed with it, and took it everywhere - including the grocery store. My youngest daughter was not so impressed. This image cracks me up because she definitely was not hiding her feelings!

This was taken in October at Caddo Lake in NE Texas as the sun was rising. Caddo Lake is a very beautiful Bayou. This is a typical autumn shot in the Bayou of men fishing.

I just LOVE the lights, colors adn SPARKLE of Christmas!

My son and I went out in search of cool locations to try something new - this was a collaboration between both of us and was so much fun to do!

I wanted to create a whimsical photograph of Autumn.

This is my preschool aged nephew-- he is still so camera shy and so I am always thrilled when he looks my way, LOL! Here he is sporting his absolute Favorite red hat. He has a drawer full of different colors and styles, yet refuses to wear any but this one.

I love old warbirds from WWII and took this photo at an airshow in Olympia,WA on Father's Day. I like this particular photo because one can't tell if the plane is in the air or on the ground. Which do you think?

A grouping of Holiday Ornaments!

I took this image during holiday in Turkey in a small village in Sept. 2008.

Taken on 11/17/2008. This is a shot of Schwabacher's Landing in Grand Teton National Park. With winter fast approaching I wanted to shoot this spot one more time as the access road will soon be closed. It was very cold but I was rewarded with a colorful sunrise. A pretty good way to start the day. RB

My daughter was giddy and proud to be helping her Daddy put lights on our Christmas tree. This was her turn around...so happy.

This is a picture of my son holding an ornament. I loved the softness of his hands and shirt sleeves all while the ornament was in focus. To me it represents how children are in awe of the holiday season. To children the holiday season is so magical, each experience from decorating the tree to singing carols can be gift in and of itself. I took this in my living room next to our Christmas tree.
