KODAK MOMENT of the Day

I wanted to create a whimsical photograph of Autumn.

This is my preschool aged nephew-- he is still so camera shy and so I am always thrilled when he looks my way, LOL! Here he is sporting his absolute Favorite red hat. He has a drawer full of different colors and styles, yet refuses to wear any but this one.

I couldn't believe how tall this giraffe was. Taken at Silver Springs, Ocala, FL.

I love old warbirds from WWII and took this photo at an airshow in Olympia,WA on Father's Day. I like this particular photo because one can't tell if the plane is in the air or on the ground. Which do you think?

A grouping of Holiday Ornaments!

I took this image during holiday in Turkey in a small village in Sept. 2008.

Taken on 11/17/2008. This is a shot of Schwabacher's Landing in Grand Teton National Park. With winter fast approaching I wanted to shoot this spot one more time as the access road will soon be closed. It was very cold but I was rewarded with a colorful sunrise. A pretty good way to start the day. RB

My daughter was giddy and proud to be helping her Daddy put lights on our Christmas tree. This was her turn around...so happy.

This picture was taken on one of my trips throughout the Wyoming Red Desert in June of 2008. These are majestic animals.

I love the Holiday season. And it's always special to spend time in NYC in December. With all the hustle in the city I was trying to capture the feeling of activity,

This is a picture of my son holding an ornament. I loved the softness of his hands and shirt sleeves all while the ornament was in focus. To me it represents how children are in awe of the holiday season. To children the holiday season is so magical, each experience from decorating the tree to singing carols can be gift in and of itself. I took this in my living room next to our Christmas tree.

This picture was made in Switzerland, in August. I used flash.

Christmas markets in Vienna/Austria are fun and colorful. Though the temperature is very low, the hospitality is warm and welcoming.

This picture only took three mirrors and three candles. My neighbor who is my best friend, helped me set it all up. We have been working on this idea for two days together. That's why this picture is special to me: not only was it a blast to create, we created it together.

I love the sparkle and blue morning light on the snow. One can't help but get into the holiday spirit with all the snow we get here in Kingsville, OH. Taken 12-5-08. Merry Christmas, everyone!

This picture is one of my favorites from a trip to France. It captures the beauty of one of the many ancient chapels I visited.

This is my second grade nephew playing his guitar outside of a local theatre! Despite his young age he loves a crowd, LOL!!! :)

I took this in November 2008. I was walking around the lake in my neighborhood. I like the intensity of the blue and how the wind is blowing the plant.

I like how serious my daughter looks in this picture. I took it 11/23/2008 in our front yard. It's my daughter and we love to snowmobile.

While my husband and I were on our second honeymoon in Paris in August, a cloudy evening offered a great backdrop for the Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel in french). It is washed with blue lights at night.

This picture was taken in August 2008, on top of Mount Baldo, Lake Garda, Italy. Little do you know what goes on above you.

This is the world famous Sydnay Opera House in Australia. Done in a creative effect to make it look a bit different to the usual photos of this icon.

My son, John, in the kitchen ... I just love the color on that old door for a background, especially with his big blue eyes.

My wife and I are avid amateur photographers, and often include our Golden Retriever, Bella, in our photographs. I decided to shoot a ?family? self portrait that shows our passion for photography and the love for our dog in one shot!

Taken on the night before Election Night in Rockefeller Center, 30 Rock is all lit up to celebrate democracy!

This was taken September 18, 2008 at the rally at Plaza de Española in New Mexico where I live. It was amazing to be standing within just a few feet of Barack Obama. There were over 10,000 people at this event. Truly an experience of a lifetime.

Lake MacDonald, Glacier National Park, Montana. JULY 23,2008 Before leaving the park for the night, we stopped at the foot of the lake for a view. The boats stacked on the dock seemed to explain the calmness of the lake's surface.

My niece found a bunch of colorful accessories and headed out into the snow. LOL. I couldn't resist snapping some pictures. :)

What a beautiful teenager.. I love this picture because Mallory's blue eyes are amazing.

I took a 3 week adventure to Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and Antarctica in Feb. 2007. It was definitely the most peaceful vacation of my life. This day was at Gold Harbour, home to 400,000 King Penguins! It's special to me because these penguins survive extreme living conditions, live and work together in these rookeries to bring up the next generation. Reminds me of how we should be....

Chinese people love red lanterns as they represent Good Luck. Taken at Shang Xia Jiu, Guangzhou last December.It tells us Chinese New Year is coming and also our happiest moments.

My sweet little niece adores art projects- and the two of us have many special moments completing them together. This image was captured this morning.

Photo Story: The Benjamin Franklin Bridge spans from Camden, NJ to Philadelphia, PA. It was the first suspension bridge to connect the two cities. Shot at sunset in a 10 second exposure. The bridge stood out nicely against the beautiful sunset that day.

While in Okinawa, Japan, my family and I would often visit the Charaumi Aquarium - it is MAGNIFICENT. We always love looking at all of the fish and pointing out everything. My son always loves trying to find the turtles.

We are definitely a football family... enjoying the playoffs and getting geared up for the SUPERBOWL!!!

I took this picture of my 6 year old son last fall. He was watching the offense play and was waiting for defenses turn on the field.
