My friend was sitting down and I snapped a picture. I loved the way the wall came out!

My wife and I are avid amateur photographers, and often include our Golden Retriever, Bella, in our photographs. I decided to shoot a ?family? self portrait that shows our passion for photography and the love for our dog in one shot!

Taken on the night before Election Night in Rockefeller Center, 30 Rock is all lit up to celebrate democracy!

This was taken September 18, 2008 at the rally at Plaza de Española in New Mexico where I live. It was amazing to be standing within just a few feet of Barack Obama. There were over 10,000 people at this event. Truly an experience of a lifetime.

Lake MacDonald, Glacier National Park, Montana. JULY 23,2008 Before leaving the park for the night, we stopped at the foot of the lake for a view. The boats stacked on the dock seemed to explain the calmness of the lake's surface.

My niece found a bunch of colorful accessories and headed out into the snow. LOL. I couldn't resist snapping some pictures. :)

What a beautiful teenager.. I love this picture because Mallory's blue eyes are amazing.

I took a 3 week adventure to Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and Antarctica in Feb. 2007. It was definitely the most peaceful vacation of my life. This day was at Gold Harbour, home to 400,000 King Penguins! It's special to me because these penguins survive extreme living conditions, live and work together in these rookeries to bring up the next generation. Reminds me of how we should be....

Chinese people love red lanterns as they represent Good Luck. Taken at Shang Xia Jiu, Guangzhou last December.It tells us Chinese New Year is coming and also our happiest moments.

My sweet little niece adores art projects- and the two of us have many special moments completing them together. This image was captured this morning.

Photo Story: The Benjamin Franklin Bridge spans from Camden, NJ to Philadelphia, PA. It was the first suspension bridge to connect the two cities. Shot at sunset in a 10 second exposure. The bridge stood out nicely against the beautiful sunset that day.

While in Okinawa, Japan, my family and I would often visit the Charaumi Aquarium - it is MAGNIFICENT. We always love looking at all of the fish and pointing out everything. My son always loves trying to find the turtles.

We are definitely a football family... enjoying the playoffs and getting geared up for the SUPERBOWL!!!

I took this picture of my 6 year old son last fall. He was watching the offense play and was waiting for defenses turn on the field.

Photo Story: While celebrating New Year's Eve in Paris, the bold colors, dramatic lighting, and elegant grandeur of this vista scene seemed to capture the excitement and possibility of the new year. Twenty minutes before midnight, we felt compelled to stop, look and wonder.

This is my youngest son and he is such a stinker. He's always into something. Here he was hiding from me after throwing rocks at his brother. He just gives me this grin hoping I'll forget his bad behavior.

The summer staff were cleaning a boathouse and placed the canoes on a dock. Lake Louise, in Alberta's Rockies, was still mostly frozen when I was visiting. This picture taken with my Kodak P880 turned out to be the best of the trip.

These little ballerinas were "in the wings" awaiting their turn to go on stage.

What would valentine's day be without candy hearts?

Photo Story: I was messing around with a plastic heart and decided to try some shots out in the snow, which is how I got the title.

No actual hearts were broken during the making of this project ;) My daughter, holding together 2 halves of a paper heart.

I love the simple feeling to this image.

I ADORE these candies every Valentine's season. I used a 100mm macro lens, I thought the colors was fun.

I took this photo on a trip to Southern Spain this summer with my mother and my daughter. We were in a shop in Granada, Spain near the cathedral. It was full of the polka dot dresses that are used to dance flamenco. I found the shoes in a back corner of the shop. I love the colors and the jumbled layout of the children's shoes.

This hood ornament caught my eye at an auto show.

Can you believe this little guy's eyelashes? And yes, I said "guy" - he is a boy... one of the most beautiful and precious ones I've ever seen. :)

I was visiting Robinson Preserve in Bradenton Fl and was up top of their Observation tower and was able to capture this Roseate Spoonbill as it flew by. Taken in Florida, 08!

This is a candid of my seven year old nephew, Dylan. I enjoy the focus on his childhood snack, lol. :)

Colorful Leaves.

On our vacation to the Black Hills area in South Dakota we visited the Mt. Rushmore National Monument. I captured this close up of George Washington in black & white. George Washington was our 1st president, and his face was selected to be carved at Mt. Rushmore because he represented the struggle for independence.

This is an image of of one our most regal, beautiful birds, the peacock. A descendant of the dinosaur, I love how these feathers show the texture and colors of this well known bird.

Photo Story: After seeing pictures of a slot canyon, I decided that it was something I needed to experience first hand. This picture was from Lower Antelope Canyon in Paige, AZ, and it was taken with my new Z812IS. I had to take several pictures to get the setting just right because of the various amounts of light -- but, I was pleased with this result.

A slice of life in a village of Rajasthan, India.This fame gives a glimpse of colorful dresses the people wear. It also gives an idea about their life style. It was shot in Nov,08.

These are my son's favorite shoes, he calls them his "Red Racers". They completely fit his outgoing, fiery little personality.

Got to love those toes! Taken in natural light.

I am really freaked out by frogs...but I took this picture, hand-held up close, even allowing another frog to land on my leg. The scene was very calming.

Congratulations to Bernie Badger! Kodak Gallery's "KODAK Moment" Winner for February: Timeless Black & White

Photo Story: This is one of my favorite pictures taken my father, Bernie Badger (he passed away in 1996). It perfectly captures the curious, aspiring character of my brother and I - me posing and him trying to take a photo. You'll notice, though, that we're both at the wrong end of camera.

The crisp details of the green outer skin of the Jack Fruit attracted me to shoot. I was in a tribal village market of Chhattisgarh, India to shoot tribal life styles. I saw this green jack fruit being sold there.

I came across these people and their dog standing at the the top of a hill. They seemed deeply involved in a conversation and, consequently, I became deeply involved in capturing the moment. Shortly after I made this exposure, they hugged and the man parted to the right while the woman and her dog left in the opposite direction.

Picture was created during the walk with my girlfriend. It is taken on November 6th on Hisar Hill near Leskovac, Serbia.

My beautiful daughter models an Autumn Leaf for me to get this shot. I changed her blue eyes to green in photoshop to co-ordinate with the Autumn colours.

My daughter's cat Perp in the backyard.

This little spider (probably 1/2 inch) was following all my movements when I was gardening and I noticed it had a couple of eyes...So I decided to get my camera and take a picture. Nature is so wonderful even the smallest creatures have so much details, like this one.

We spend alot of time at soccer games this time of year. Lots of practice going on too. My son loves doing the drills to see how fast he can go. I loved this because both his feet are off the ground.
