Photo Story: I love doing water drop photography, no two are ever alike.

This is a close up of my oldest son after a football throwing session with Dad. His features are great and you can see the sweat and gatorade on his lip.

My friend Ehren Ebbage, he is an amazingly talented musician. :)

I was looking at my wife's ferns in our backyard shortly after sunrise this morning. I was impressed by both the delicateness and complexity of each of the individual leaves. The early morning light brought out the details of each leaf beautifully.

This is my daughter Taylor. She was just simply playing in the rain. We had been in a very long rain drought, so we were very happy to see it pour down!!!

This frog lived in our fish pond all summer. He would sit on the lily pads and watch us!

I was looking for a seasonal image to make when I was on my way to White Sands National Monument in New Mexico when I came across this snowman in a store. The sand in the park looks so much like snow I thought it was the perfect match.

This photo was taken on November 29, 2008 at the Conowingo Dam in Maryland. It is one of a ten photo sequence that I was able to capture as the eagle came in to capture his prey. These majestic birds have made a tremendous comeback from being just a memory.

Photo Story: This picture was taken in Maumee, Ohio's Sidecut Park on a cold, snowy, wet day in February. I was looking out for ducks to photograph when I came across this herd of deer. What better way to view Mother Earth?

On vacation this butterfly was flitting around and then finally landed for a rest.

We were in the conference playoffs in Mississippi. It rained cats and dogs, but we kept playing. It was the last game of my son's entire life and he was stressed and sad. I captured his frustration and caught his bubble gum in mid-bubble! We lost 1-4.

This is a Sally Lightfoot crab from the island of San Cristobal in the Galapagos. These crabs are so beautiful with their vibrant red against the volcanic rock of the islands.

Photo Story: Impressions of a nearby pond.

Spring has began! This picture was taken in the Netherlands on the first spring day, March 20, 2009.

This was taken in Jerusalem's Church of the Holy Sepulchre,in the Katholicon space during a Greek Orthodox ceremony. The lamp the women are leaning toward is considered to be the absolute center of the world.

This was taken at Dudley Farm State Park, Gainesville, FL. A working 1830's farm, they had a garden spot filled with daisies. I liked the angle of this shot with the sky in the background.

Flooding here in the Midwest has produced an abundance of frogs this year. I found this little guy in a flower in our yard.

The promise of a clear sky and the light of a full moon got me out early. There is a 10 minute window just before sunrise when there is this beautiful alpenglow that gives the Tetons a great background. Grand Teton National Park, August 2008.

At roof top of my house at Ajmer, I saw two little beautiful birds playing. These birds were sitting on the electric line in front of my house. The love and care pose with clouds in the sky attracted me to shoot it.

This was a beautiful, warm evening in Key West, Florida. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful day.

We spotted this coyote in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone. It was a bitter cold day in March, still very wintry in the park.

I love the delicate fern leaf as it opens up by unrolling from it's base.

Every month I receive Runner's World magazine, and the first page I flip to is that month's "Rave Run" where they feature a beautiful place to run. The most recent month featured the Channel Islands National Park, about 20 miles off shore of Ventura, California. It has always been my dream to do a "Rave Run," so my boyfriend decided to plan a day trip to the island so I could cross that goal off my list. The beautiful February day provided a beautiful backdrop for our very own "rave run." We went for our run and he went a few steps ahead to capture the happiness that I felt as I lived out a dream.

Not often can you get so close to a giraffe, and then the sunset behind it is a bonus. This picture was taken in December 2007 just outside the Kruger National Park, Lowveld, South Africa

Photo Story: This picture was taken along I-40 in Oklahoma. From the road it looks like wind pawns on a checker board landscape.

The picture is special to me as it was taken in my spiritual home the Masai-Mara, Kenya. It is a female cheetah using a termite hill to gain advantage to see over the plains. This cheetah also jumped onto the bonnet of our land rover giving us an incredibly close encounter. I placed it in 'Nature' as the picture features wildlife within its own environment. It is an honour to be in their territory.

This picture came after over five years' of trying.

This nest was right outside my door. I could here them singing for food ever morning. I would get my coffee and sit and watch the mama bring all the yummy worms and misc.. food to them. what a way to spend my mornings.

Taken at the L.A. County Fair about 9 years ago. They used to allow people inside the oval track area, where I took this photo. My telephoto lens was "panned", following the motion of the horses.

A few years ago, after we got our first digital camera, there was this rain or storm that blew through. When I was on my porch shortly after, these double rainbows appeared across the street.

With spring just around the corner, the temperatures are starting to rise. This making my little girl very happy and jumping for joy.

This picture was taken at a high school Junior Varsity game, following a heavy rainstorm. Shooting from the end zone, I caught this splashy tackle as the ball was being run back after the interception.

I took this on the creek behind my house. I love the spark on the branch.

I was on a photo walk through Chicago when I found myself in Millennium Park. I took a few moments to take in the activity around me when I saw this scene unfolding before me. I quickly brought camera to eye, composed, and made this exposure, capturing not only the kid getting soaked by the fountain, but also the young child getting the joke.

This is my cousin's little daughter trying her very hardest to hear the heartbeat of her soon to be baby brother. :)

I have take it 29/06/2008 at Antibes ( France) during my holidays. The weather was very hot and in the light of evening children played in the town's fountain. I like the light crossing the water and this child against the sun

Garden City, South Carolina is flooded with tourists, in the summer. The lights on the pier are kept on all night, for fisherman. This shot was taken about 1/2 hour before sunrise.

While sitting at a stop light, I noticed this woman walking in the rain across the street. I grabbed my camera, rolled down the window, and was able to make a single exposure before the light turned.

With my daughter serving in the Air Force, the flight of the Thunderbirds takes on a special meaning for me.

My sister-in-law and I were playing around with photographing strawberries dropping into bubbly water...LOTS of FUN!! :) I liked how it looked like the water was "reaching" out of the glass on this shot!

During our first day in Hawaii during May 08 my husband and I were eager to get in the water. However, we quickly found out the water was extremely cold. All I could do was run away from the water as soon as it hit my ankles, and my husband took a picture of my tracks.

Captured this image of the Horseshoe falls in Niagara Falls Ontario, Canada.

This was my first attempt at photographing surfers. I shot this photo at Saint Augustine Beach Florida June, 2008. There were lot's of surfers and this person seemed good so I followed him through several "runs" shooting several frames .

I was taking photos in the park and saw leaves floating in the pond. To me it shows the peaceful side of nature and the joy of being able to capture that.

This is Prunytown National Cemetary in West Virginia. The day this picture was taken, we had just buried my Uncle with military honors. I was inspired by the single rose amidst all the "fallen"

Photo Story: We made a quick stop at Arlington on our way to visit our son who was returning from a 7 month deployment in Kuwait. We saw this ceremony taking place, and it made us appreciate him and all the rest of the soldiers even more.
