Visited SF last weekend, and it was rainy. Didn't let the weather discourage me from shooting the Golden Gate. The foggy landscape seemed perfect for the vintage treatment!

Early morning shoot with some photographer friends from Atlanta brought us over to the famous Bean!

This photo of my 2 daughters (Abbey, 11 and Justina, 15)and their cousin from Florida (Kody, 9) was taken after a hike we planned was cut very short due to a terrible thunderstorm that actually took down some trees in the park we were visiting together.(Bear Mountain State Park in New York) We had underestimated(ignored?)some of the weather warnings in our zeal to experience this hiking adventure together during our brief time to visit with each other this past July. This photo, taken as we emerged from the trail, shaken but in one piece, seemed to represent the feeling of togetherness and a peacefulness through nature that we had been seeking, transforming the doomed hike into a success!

Vietnam - Hanoi, February 2011. The streets of Hanoi are fast paced. With a blink of an eye many people will pass you by on one of the hundred motor cycles, but on one miserable night I spotted a man, 'The Balloon Man', who was standing on the road holding a hand full of balloons. One balloon may not be much to one person, but to a man who is struggling day by day selling one balloon is another day to support his family. The still floating balloons captured a sense of purity & hope within the chaotic life of man.

God allows His tears to fall from the heavens, and they quench the thirst of those willing to catch them.

This is my friend Fred (a beautiful young woman)...when I was a kid (around the dawn of time, I had an Italian barber,named Dom, who use to cut my hair...I don't think Dom (if he were alive today) could have ever imagined how sexy a crew cut could look.

The day before her wedding day, after talking about her love for her partner, she looked at me with her eyes, hair undone, as she put down her Starbucks. In her eyes I could see how strong she felt, for herself and for the woman she was about to marry in 24 hours.

This is Kelsey who is going to turn 17 later this month. I've known her since she was 16 months old and used to babysit her for about 8 years. She and her older sister are like part of our family.

I captured this image while snorkeling @ Kapalua Bay on the island of Maui.It was taken February of 2012. I love to snorkle & it can be a challenge to photograph underwater respecting the sealife & the coral. I was elated to see this image showing the beautiful detail of this wonderful creature.

This is one of my most beautiful places to be. It is Portland Headlight in Cape Elizabeth Maine. I grew up in Maine but now live in Manitoba Canada,far away from any ocean. My husband & one of my boys were there for a visit in Nov.2010 My son captured this picture. This picture is special to me because it represents home and brings back so many memories.

This is a beautiful place in San Francisco which comes alive in the evening.

It took me 15 years to finally gain access to the Main Cables. (My favorite Bridge) I was on the inner Main Cable, NY side. It was April 17th 2008 This is one of thousands of images for an eventual B&W coffee table book on New York's great bridges.

This is a picture of my cousin on a hike, Friendship Gardens, in Kaneohe Bay, HI.

This picture is very creative and different. My friends and I were messing around and started drawing on eggs and it was picture worthy. All these eggs have emotions on their shells, so they seem, emotional.

A child waits to scoop some sea water at the beach. Ocean grove NJ I do most of my shots in color, however, on this day at a moment's notice I decided to try B&W. I was amazed at the outcome! On reviewing the shot I noticed this child with a jar in the foreground that added more life to the picture.

This picture is from the Hawaiian island of Oahu, on the Wiliwilinui Ridge hike. There was a heavy mist rolling down the mountain that provided the perfect backdrop for this isolated tree.

At our annual Easter egg hunt, it appears this little boy has a unique way to carry his basket!

-I was in Dubrovnik a couple years ago, and I was surprised with this absolutely unusual scene. They are staring at me without any anger between them. If the people can try to understand the animals in proper way, probably the world will be better place for living -Dubrovnik,Croatia,08.09.2008 -They are somebodys pets :)

Our son flew us from Massachusetts to Seattle in his twin engine plane. We flew really close to Niagra Falls! It was beautiful and very scary all at the same time.
