KODAK MOMENT of the Day

Its just a nice and colorful event to take a picture of!

I happen to have my Nikon with me when my cat Chowhound yawned. Lucky for me she cooperated!

This is one of my best friends grinding a metal rod to use as part of his graphics project. I was facinated by the sparks the metal was creating and the way it was settling on the puddle of water below and inspired me to do a whole project based around different types of sparks.

I took this on a trip with my family,also i was experimenting with animal photography,this was taken july 7th an the mood i was aiming for was the kind of mysterious,like what was the horse feeling

On Easter, after hunting for eggs, we went on the farm and rode some horses and cleaned up the area so this is the relaxing end to a hard, but fun and memorable, day :)

It was taken in Budapest in April. The photo is special for me as it shows that Budapest cannot only be symbolized by the Chainbridge and the Danube. There are also other values as well like ships and the lights at night.

I like the activity of the crew on the aircraft plus the late evening lighting of the sky and speedway. This was taken at Daytona Beach during the races in July

This picture is special to me because I love nature! I spend a lot of my time outside, and looking at the beauty of this earth. I took this May 18, 2012 and i took this by my house. We grow a lot of tulips by my house and i decided it would be a pretty picture. It relates to my theme because flowers are apart of nature.

I took pictures while my friend jumped in water puddles with her gumboots. I decided just to shoot knees down, but somehow you can feel her happiness in the photo despite the absence of facial expression, it shows how essential body language is in our day to day lives. Taken on a rainy day in Sydney.

I took this picture when my family came to Colorado Springs to visit w/me. We went to the zoo and I wanted to make sure I got a great pic of the giraffe for my niece who LOVES them.

Chameleon is very famous mostly in village. These mainly seen in the rural fair in each an evry occassion.They makeup like Hindu God and Godess and act like them and entertain people through their acting. I capture one of this moment when a boy took some final touch.

While staying at a hotel on St. Augustine Beach in April of 2012, I was attracted to the Tiki Bar at pool side because of its colors, colors, and angles of the siding. I cropped in closely to focus on the abstract elements of the scene.

My best friend's 3 month old son.

As a truck driver, my husband sees many abandoned and run-down places. Knowing how much I love to see these places he take photos for me to see them. This photo was taken in Perry Florida at what was once the Kingswood Motel. It has been closed now for years, yet the signs still stand proudly.

A White Ibis flies in for a landing displaying its small body frame held together with soft white feathers against the soft, pink evening glow of sunset.

This is my beautiful daughter Mia playing with a traditional phone that belonged to her grandpops who passed away a year ago. She started playing with it and looked so truly vintage and gorgeous that I couldn't resist snapping away!

While i was out with the girls, we decided to stop by that beautiful front yard and i told the older sister to kiss her younger sister and when i snaped the photo it looked amazing!

I love this photograph of a calf peeping at me while taking his photo. I love the way he is framed by the hedges. This was taken in small coastal village of St Dogmaels in West Wales in July 2012. International Cow day :)

I enjoy photographing food. This was my first attempt at this cupcakes and I noticed the light coming into the dining room so I took advantage of it...

I took this in my bedroom and it's special to me because when words fail to speak you can create a song on the guitar and play it, and let words flow through them.

I took this picture when traveling through Montana on a road trip. It's one of my personal favorites.

I took this shot at the 2013 St Patrick's Day parade in London, just as I was crossing a road the gentleman in the picture was walking towards me. As I raised my camera he paused and subtly stood up straight for barely half a second to let me get the shot, then gave me a smile as we passed one-another. A true gentleman and typical of the charming little experiences you get from street photography.

I took this photo in a park in Dublin Ireland. I noticed the boy feeding the pigeons had red shoes and I liked the link to the red feet of the pigeson.

Beautiful flower from the tropical gardens at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida.

Photo taken along the banks of the Seine. The mother was nearby but paid so little attention to her only duckling. When the mother strayed this is when I took the photo. In the end they swam off together but it was difficult to observe this lonely little thing at that moment.

I just waited all the day for this little frog to pop up his head from the water

Sunset at the Shwe San Taw pagoda in Bagan, Myanmar. This little monk was kind enough to show up. I took the picture and before I had the time to thank him he was already gone.

It is a rare gift to come across such a beautiful 'leftover' from the bird kingdom. I was fortunate.

On one hand they are impressionable, on the other they are powerhouses of potential energy. Their views and opinions will undoubtedly have a significant impact in shaping the future of Bangladesh. Will they follow the tides of society or will they take the roads less traveled? Endless pleasure makes them boundless, don't know where the spirit comes from, how and why? This was my daughters college graduation... the boys were so proud of their big sissy, they couldn't' wait to give her a big smooch! The look on her face is priceless~a moment I'll always treasure.

This was one of my first lightning pictures, and this one made a huge blast, and the lightning was so bright that all the sky became whyte and i did not see it until i saw the picture. It was taken outside my house in Antanhol, Coimbra, on May 17th 2011 not the best location for this kind of pictures, but i think that it turned out to be a great picture. I think this photo shows how wonderfull nature can be!

It may sound silly, but the day i took this picture was a beautiful day. I went with my friends to Punta del Este, and we skipped stones in a lake. It wasn't an extraordinary day, but it was beautiful. The way the sun hugged this lavender flowers made it all look as if i was daydreaming.

We were driving to the lake while my best friend enjoyed some fresh air
