This picture is special to me because it's my first star trail photo, and I spent a good 5 hours shooting this in the cold. Stars are found in nature, so I figured that's the theme it belongs to.

This young baboon, at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, North Carolina, seemed to really be enjoying the local vegitation.

The pictue is taken 2012, December.

A single pine on the South Dakota high plains desert decorated for Christmas. We decorate and trim this tree every year for Christmas it is something fun my husband and I do.

This is my 8 month old baby and this was taken for our Christmas card by June Anderson of Coastal Creative Images. It was taken on December 8th 2013 @ Junes house. My name is Sabrina and my baby is Bryson. Its perfect for this theme because its the holoday season and cold weather is here and perfect for building a snowman.

There really IS a Santa Claus... he really IS real.. makes even the grown ups BELIEVE.. year round this man has the true meaning of Christmas in his heart.. and shares it with others.

We rescued Percy right off the animal control truck as a baby kitten too small to even eat on his own he was our Christmas gift that year and every year since ! All of pets are rescued pets !

Every year the neighbors of South Smedley Street in Philadelphia put on an awesome display of lights. Shot December, 2013.

This picture is special to me because I snapped it while riding with my husband in the snow plow helping to clear the 57.8 miles of country roads surrounding our little town. This was taken in IL between Tower Hill & Shelbyville on 12/14/13. The beauty of this snowfall country scene almost moved me to tears.

Life in Macau is not easy. But we can still find a place to take a deep breath n express ourselves via the photo's world, to show our romance.

I played with light and found it very interesting and fun.

This is my rescue kitten from a North Carolina shelter. This was taken in November, 2013 and it's his 1st Christmas.

We get snowy owls on Long Island every winter. This year there have been many sightings and I?ve been able to find at least two of these stunning birds. This one was photographed on one of our Atlantic Ocean beaches while it was snowing.

I took this picture while taking a photography class. I took it in Saco, Maine at the train station. I really love the long exposure of the train with the still, forgotten roses.

On a drizzly day, this lovely dove sat in the tree opposite our kitchen window. Somehow, the color in the house behind him and the low lights from the atmosphere created this deep coloring in the dove, I adjusted the color just a bit by increasing the saturation a small amount.

" I was with my family for the first time in 2 years. My wife and I were celebrating our 27th anniversary. "Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Newport, Oregon " We were on vacation and love to visit lighthouses, they are very symbolic to us.

I love to be outdoors and I saw the perfect shot and decided to share.

We have an annual balloon festival in the fall that fills the early morning skies with vibrant colors.

my very first test shot with Nikor 1 18.5mm f1.8 lens. This photo was taken at Kandawgyi Natural Park located in Yangon, Myanmar. This place is very attractrive for tourists.

An amazing sculpture is left behind following a harsh winter storm in early-February that battered St. Joseph Pierhead lighthouse and is now encased in a thick coat of ice and snow.

I have worked for the railroad for 20 years now as a locomotive engineer. Diesels are great but there is just something so impressive about a steam engine. This image was captured in Scranton Pennsylvania in February 2011 as Steamtown ran a special train to the Ice Harvest Festival in Tobyhanna, PA. As an photographer who's passion is in transportation photography and photojournalism this image seems relative to the art of imagery.

Rubber Duck first day in HK. This photo was took in Hong Kong Victoria Harbour on 2nd May, 2013. The DUCK only stay in Hong Kong for a month.

Since we first got her she has become adjusted to a lens in her face and now 5 years on she poses on Que.

I was eager to see the legendary pure-blooded Aryans said to have made their home in Ladakh. The Brogpas, inhabitants of Dah-Hanu, are said to be the last of the Indo-Aryan indigenous people in these parts. What marks Brokpas out, is that they have lived isolated lives for centuries in such an inaccessibly harsh terrain that they seem to have kept their DNA untainted by outsiders.  The elaborate headdress that this lady is wearing is called a Kho and is decorated with bright flowers denoting the married status of women. I have taken this shot at Ladakh, India in May 2013.

-The warm, vibrant colors of the picture feel like the Mediterranean climate. -I took this picture in the summer of 2011 in South Tyrol in Italy. -South Tyrol is one of my favorite places. The mountains, the Austrian and Italian food, and the climate blend to create the perfect vacation spot.

The photo depicts a young female Ibex on the fork of Disteis (2,200 m), near the top of the Jof di Montasio (Friuli, Italy). The occasion was a trip with my third son (I have 4 ...), a trip that had to be quiet and without surprises and instead has turned into one of the most exciting days of my life. The photo was taken leaning on the crest of the saddle: these beautiful animals had fun running on the edge of the ledges ...

This picture, as most of my pictures, transcribes urban reality into a canvas of light. I like to capture beautiful urban moments that often go unnoticed. I never alter localy my pictures.

This picture was taken from the top of the Empire States Building I recently visited, about two days ago. It's special to me because it reflects my secret indulgence: city life and busyness, and it relates to travel as I am currently on vacation in America, yet travelling around America :)

I love how the ice looks after a snow storm. Taken on 12/30/2012 in my back yard. It has been a snowy, icy couple of days and I couldn't wait to get out and take some pictures. Ice always makes a COOL shot, lol.

This picture was taken at a dance festival in India.

Took this image around Cody Wyoming. We were driving and the Big horn sheep were all over on a side road and I opened my window and started taking pictures as we drove beside them on the side road. They seemed so relaxed as if we were not there.

I took this photo of a distressed ship that was abandoned alongside the shore. It was a cloudy day on a cold winter morning in January 2014. With a little imagination, I decided to create a stormy mood to help bring this ship back to life. HDR, 2+, 0, 2- exposure. CS6 was used to bring it all together. Nick Fisher

You acquire a lot of shoes being a dancer.

This is one of my favourite wedding shots from 2013. The couple went from their church straight to the beach to take their first steps together in the sand. I caught this moment as they returned as man and wife.

It was a magical summer morning in July 2013 in Venice sitting on the deck of the Gritti Palace Hotel as we sipped Prosecco and enjoyed a lavish brunch lstening to Volare sung by the passing Gondaleirs. A toast to Venice was appropriate to celebrate our visit to Venice and the final days of our travels to Europe.
