My son received a new electric guitar for Christmas. It is so shiny and reflective and we felt made for some fun photographs taken at different angles and with different focal points. Here is one of the shots.

On this Memorial Day Weekend, i taught my son the importance of remembering those who sacrificed...all

This picture is special to me because it was taken at the Vietnam war memorial and my dad served in this war. This memorial is in Washington Dc and it was taken on a family vacation a few years back. The soldiers that fought in this war did not receive the respect they deserved when they returned back home. I feel this picture shows that there are people out there that respect them and thank them for the sacrifices they made for this country.

This beautiful bird is a two years old Eastern Screech Owl and you are looking to his best side. Unfortunately, he was injured at young age and lost the other eye. This shot was taken at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida, meanwhile held by a special handler. Flamingo Gardens is a non-profit organization receiving injured animals and giving them shelter, medical attention, food, care, and love for life. I am a proud volunteer of this park trying to promote their noble and silent work through my photography.

We watched some great surfers today October 10, 2012 at Honolua, Maui, Hawaii. The action was breathtaking and the skill level was astounding. This will be an image in my mind for a lon time. I like the power of the wave, the skill of the surfer, and the way the wind was blowing off the top of the wave, in line with his body angle.

I love old cameras ... this is the lens on my GraphicView 4x5. Taken in March 2014. The look and feel just matches the photos I take with that camera.

I love this photo because this Jack Russell Terrier looked just like my Schnurbart. This dog?s owner decided to hit the surfs and this dog hardly took his eyes off him, even as I plunged my knees into the sand and crouched to get a better frame (with a 35mm lens, I was really close). I am so impressed with his good behaviour, but more so with his unwaivering sense of loyalty to his master. Byron Bay, Australia, Dec 2013. Taken with Contax T3 and Kodak Ektar 100 film.

In Luxembourg Park, Paris, a very popular family event is toy- boat sailing. There are vendors who rent out the boats and the children love to sail them around the fountains with parents in-tow or vs. It is joyous to watch.

I photographed this colorful firework display at last year's 4th of July Fireworks Celebration at Stanley Quarter Park, in New Britain, CT. Each year I enjoy photographing the show and each year the fireworks are always colorful and dramatic.

My wife and I were in Canada and I love reflection images but I wanted to be part of this reflection so I through a pebble into the water as if I was painting it in. My wife and I were on holiday when the image was taken and we were relaxed after working so hard during the year.

I took this picture while lieing on the beach at Weymouth Tasmania. I just wanted to share it with everyone.

My grandbaby fell in the grass at the park. He looked so precious in the sunlight smiling at us as we were all fussing over him falling.

I photographed this oystercatcher chick at sunset on Nickerson Beach, Long Beach Island, New York.

Getting into the outdoors is always a great period for reflection - although the seclusion provided by truly entering the wilderness makes the sense of reflection just a little deeper. A recent trip to the Adirondacks provided some much needed thought as I found myself at an intersection in life.
