This picture was taken whilst on holiday in Trearddur Bay, Anglesey, Wales of my son Leo skim boarding before sunset. The picture was an impromptu picture taken on my iphone on 31st Aug 13 and shows how beautiful the beaches in North Wales can be.

This female puppy is special, very loving and steady companion. Petence my granddaughter Thais (9 years old).

This picture is special to me because I think that it has a lot of meaning to life. Many people get various great offers proposed to them everyday to them everyday, but they put up a barrier subconsciously between the offer and themselves. They miss their chance to achieve something and they regret it. Their colorful chance escapes from their life. This was taken on April 2,2015 in NYC, USA. The theme was Animals/Pets, the cat on the picture is my pet.

Big cypress trees seen often on the fringe of lakes in the state of Florida are accented by a luminous sunset on Lake Jesup.

To me, this is the most beautiful lighthouses to photograph, but a bit of a challenging one. There is a fence all a long the area that is pretty high to jump so I had to place my tripod over the fence and hold onto it tightly to capture this shot. The sun was setting way over yonder, but it produced a night pink sky as background for my shot.

This photo is special to me because it has my 2 little sisters in it. I took it in the South of France in a little village called Cazals at a beautiful lake. I picked creative because it was an early morning shoot.

This one year old lion cub, at the North Carolina Zoo, in Asheboro, North Carolina, liked emulating his father.

My best friend, photo assignment partner on local road trips. The General or Vito. Never on a plane though. I travel to the desert a lot in California, Arizona and New Mexico with The General in the cooler months. My favorite place to photograph. This was taken at Kelso Dunes. The General rests atop Kelso Dunes in the Mojave Desert. Roughly 1hr 30 min walk through small dunes to the main dune, then another 1hr up the peak - about a 720 foot/219 meters climb to the top. In deep sand. Not bad for a ten year old General. I was snapping photos, turned around, and there he was, regal, king, watching the land below him. So happy. How can you no smile when looking at this photo? As for the photo, no filters are used, minimal raw editing. Nikon 14-24 + Nikon D610

This picture of my son's baseball team was taken on a warm August (2012) afternoon as the boys waited for a tournament game to end before their next game. The photo is not posed and evokes a sense of boyhood summer fun that spans generations.

The vibrant colors of this fire hydrant caught my eye in Cartagena, Colombia.

Snapped this guy on a pink hollyhock. I think the background contrasts nicely with the bee's colors and the pollen drops just pop out of the shot.

In early 2013 I traveled through India. In Bhopal I saw these guy cruising through the streets of the Slum. They asked me to take some pictures of them

Rupert (top) is owned by my youngest daughter & is from a litter sired by Chase (middle). Chase is owned by my oldest daughter. Gus (bottom) is my second golden. What a great breed! The photo was taken at Buck Lake, Ontario. We have a cottage there. The whole family looks forward to visiting, especially the Golden's. Even though we have a special toy for each Golden, they are somewhat like human children. Everyone wants the same toy. They also share tennis balls & bones.

this picture was taken in Abu Dhabi, Famous Etihad tower. I really like the architecture of the building and also POV . As i was travel to Abu Dhabi so thought that it will suite in travel category. UAE is famous for its architecture and worth to see all the beautiful buildings.

There's nothing quite like the combination of kids and summertime!! While photographing this sweet little one, she found a puddle and proceeded to jump across it & around it & and finally & in it. It reminded me of when I was young and couldn't resist a good puddle!

This is a night shot of the amusement pier at Ocean City, MD. I tried to capture the energy and excitement of the rides on a summer night.

The Light of our lives. She just brings joy to us every day.

The photograph is captured in Ganga Sagar Mela this year, a pilgrimage destination of thousands of devotees in India. The place is located in south of Bengal and after a holy dip in the Ganges, the devotees dry their clothes on the beach against the wild salty winds.

The parked school buses were so 'fetching' in their colorful lineup and patterns. Just drew the eye and the memories right into the lens.

I love the muted pink flowers in the background, just gives the cone flowers a nice contrast to them.

I have a hummingbird feeder without any place to sit on, outside my balcony. This little one came and was very thirsty so, it would take a few sips and then hover away from the feeder. Then come back in for more food. Allowed me to capture this.

This picture was taken on August 30, 2015, during a field trip of a Photography Club from San German, Puerto Rico.These sunflowers are grown at Finca El Girasol, in Guanica, PR. It marks my first opportunity to take pictures at a sunflower farm, and that bee seemed to gently pose for me.

The Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) Wild for Wildlife photo contest Grand Prize Winner: Lemurs can't ring in on Jeopardy. Lemurs have an all-or-none handgrip. This maximizes grip strength, which is perfect for arboreal locomotion (although ring-tailed lemurs spend more time on the ground).

The Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) Wild for Wildlife photo contest first runner up winner: So this is a photo representing our orangutans. We had 'fun staff' photos taken and I snapped this picture of our Primate World keepers imitating each of the orangutans performing a behavior that they do in their natural behavior show! It's been a hit at our zoo!

This friendly little guy came up to me and showed me how he could hang upside down, and eat a mulberry. The simplest animals can amaze you.

This photo was taken by my late grandfather in October 1988. He had access to the roof and was allowed to get real close to the edge to take this wonder fall like shadow spectacle of the former twin towers in NYC.

I would have to say that because of this picture i got interested in photography, to be able to capture all the beauty that's around us. This was taken in Thailand, in the island of Ko Pagnan, while I was on holidays in 2009. This view, this picture, the feelings felt while at it, made my trip worth it. The picture has not been manipulated other than resizing.

I have a plot at a community garden, where these 2 amazing carrots met! It was love at first sight.

Nevada is a beauty and such a sweetheart. This photo reminds me of a character from an old fairytale. With a vintage feel to it.

The weather forecast for the evening (May 26. 2015) in Trondheim, Norway was promising with a lot of dramatic clouds. I was, however, a little bit anxious on location if it was going to start raining. We could see some lightning in the distance. To clear the equipment from the shooting location takes a good 25 minutes and I didn't want anything to get wet. But we were ok. Roger is a natural talent in front of the camera and It is a treat to portrait him.

I took this picture while visiting a Hindu temple in Pondicherry, India. I had been photographing two cats wrestling in one of the narrow lanes behind the temple when suddenly one of the cats climbed onto the colourful Gopura and sat completely still with its eyes fixed on me. We must have been observing each other for a good ten minutes and I thought I had got some pretty decent shots. The temple cat, probably bored of me by then, turned its back and crouched, as if about to pounce on an invisible prey. I knew something was going to happen, so I got my camera ready and was rewarded with this spectacular leap of faith!

I captured this image with my Nikon D800 and Tamrom 60mm f2 Lens. This flower has such color and detail. It's almost a flower within a flower.

An Indian Rhino couple shares a moment of intimacy at the Lal Suhanra National Park. The two were brought in from Nepal in 1982, though have yet to produce an offspring. The rhinos are usually apart and grazing far away from the viewing area. However, at this particular time, they not only came closer to us, but shared this beautiful moment.

I photographed this picture when I went on a short hike in Georgia forest. The title of the picture came from when I was walking on this narrow path to the lake. The path had leaves all over it and every step felt like I was walking on a soft bed.

Just happened by this motorcycle flat-track race and wasn't sure if I would like it ... four hours later, I wasn't wondering anymore! Fun!!!!
