KODAK MOMENT of the Day

I took this picture at the More London Riverside near Tower bridge on a very rainy day. It was just such an abstract view when you look up which is surprisingly even more enhanced by the rain. I thought this was a good example of a man-made artistic moment augmented by nature.

The beautiful red fox has a dog-like face and is an incredibly adaptable animal. They often live in close proximity to humans.

Here is an 150 year old book I found in my attic. Although it is so old, the spine is virtually unbroken, leaving it with beautiful aging patterns.

My three year old daughter is sharing a special moment with our horse Shine. She is telling Shine she is sorry for throwing a rock near her. There is nothing more special than the bond between a horse and a girl. No matter what..........

This angel here on earth has gained her wings in heaven. She fought a brave fight.. all while caring for others. This picture has so much meaning to me, and many others.. as it is testament to her brave battle. Fly High.

This is basically race of Rowing it was taken from West Bengal. It is one of the famous race for the fishermen. In middle of September it mainly held by the local fisherman group. It is a very entertaining as well as very risky game and fishermen did it very efficiently and effectively. I capture one of the moment of it.

This photo is special because the Pier in the background is no longer part of the landscape since Hurricane Sandy. This photo was taken In Ocean City, NJ last Novemeber. It relates to the theme of Travel/Vacation because so many come to this very location for family photos while on vacation.

This picture was taken on a gloomy Sunday afternoon after a heavy spell of rain. The first chills of fall were in the air and they were contemplating whether or not to drive their bikes through the pool of water. The picture is special to me because it portrays their vulnerability: the bruises on my little girl's legs from a previous fall is still visible and the determination in my son's stance is undermined by the slightly awkward position of his feet. Moments after the picture was taken he ended up in the middle of the pool with a nasty bruise to his knee.

I took this picture while drinking thee in a nice little cafe. The family in front of me was so calm and charming it helped me calm down from a bad day too. The way the mother talked to her kids and the way she hold them it showed that she was not afraid to let me take a place in the world.

I was fortunate enough to fulfill my mum's lifelong dream & take her on a Gondola in Venice. A holiday I will always treasure. Taken on 9th March 2013 The gondola is perhaps one of the best known symbols of Venice. When you think of travelling the canals in Venice, your mind pictures the graceful and beautiful Gondola.

My great grandfather who suffers from Alzheimer's, I wanted the main focal point to be his eyes as they are what tell the story, the lost look in his eyes.

This is one of those moments when you say to yourself, where is my camera? Find it and snap. I thought this man with his dog was too funny of a picture to pass up. I was in Florida on vacation, visiting my mother. She was driving and I was a passenger in her car.

Once a year be two people in the "not real" connected during the traditional country wedding.

I took this picture on the Southern slopes of Mount Ainos. It was taken on 14th Sept 2014. It was not posed or set up, the horse posed for me and gave me one of the biggest thrills of my life. My wife and I were deeply moved by the beauty of the animal.

Walking down a path in Crater Lake National Park during the day I looked up and wondered how it might look at night with a sky full of stars. Luckily I made it back that night and I was able to get this image.

This photo was taken while cruising on a riverboat in France. While looking out our window as the boat was underway, we noticed our breakfast reflection . The picture seemed complete with the trees in the background. But the colors were quite dim overall, so I decided to play with the colors to achieve a more whimsical illusion of the food and water. By the way, the egg was scrumptious.

On a weekend holiday in Val David, my wife Anne and I took a 40km bike ride through some of the most beautiful scenery. We both love autumn and its colors.

A spectacular sunrise against a brilliant blue sky with moored boats in one of the numerous ghats at Varanasi makes one stop and savor the breathtaking moment. I stopped too to capture this tranquil sunrise for eternity.

On March 30, 2015, I was at home when suddenly my wife came to tell me about an unexpected visitor in our garden. To my surprise it was a beautiful specimen of the Green Iguana (Iguana iguana). It stayed still while I took some nice up close portraits. Iguana iguana is native to Central and South America, and was introduced into Puerto Rico in the 1970s as a result of pet trade. This reptile has spread throughout Puerto Rico, where its negative effects may threaten local biodiversity.

Golden leaves everywhere.

This picture was taken at a Bengali (Indian) wedding during a ceremony called "panigrahan", which literally means receiving of a woman's hand in marriage. The concept and the importance attached to it shows the respect and position of honour women in indian society enjoy, and that itself made it a memory worth clicking.

Taken this picture in Norway when I visited a person close to my heart. This was on October 04, my 23rd birthday.

This is my cat, Samantha, on the toy piano she likes to bang on every once in a while, usually when her dinner is late.

Halloween in Japan 2012. This was right after I was first told I was cancer free! Happy to make it back home to my daughter and her friends to share another Halloween with them.
