It was cold...it was raining...but this walk was so fun with her!

During college there was a beautiful snow fall, so a couple of friends and I went outside to enjoy. My friend captured this snowflake and I love remembering the joy of playing in the snow.

Early in the morning when my daughter woke up she went to the living room and saw me standing by the window. The first thing she asked me to do is hug her and the take a selfie of us together. It made my day.

If you take the short but steep path to Heidelberg Castle, you will be rewarded with a great view of the city.

The prettiest under-sofa conspiratorial gathering. Oh to be a fly on the wall of this meeting. 

Look, kids don’t always love when you take them out in freezing temperatures and make them take their coats off *and* make them smile. But...all it takes is one moment. This was that moment.

I took this photo on his 31st birthday. I love it because it captures the light and kindness in his eyes. He likes it because it captures how big his biceps are. Men, amirite? ?
