KODAK MOMENT of the Day

I capture this photo in Bhuli SVM School on 15th august 2011, Dhanbad Jharkhand.

My father is a pretty stoic guy, but put him around his grandchildren, and he is all smiles :-)

This was on a sunday, in Paulista Avenue. And those are my friends, being happy, and i do really love this photo 

taken end of august....final days at pool with my friends....had the pool to ourselves and we decided to do a big hat day.....

Visiting my dad at his new home quite a while away from us, he doesn't see how grand kids that often. We had been trying to get our newborn, Harley to smile all week and we always missed it with the camera. However, my dad held him for the first time and his little face was beaming, smiling from ear to ear. I managed to whip my phone out and capture him smiling whilst gazing at my dad.

My two girls argue over everything. This was the easiest way for them to settle who gets it next. We were eating at a restaurant in Atlanta, Ga. It was taken on November 6, 2013.

My Grandparents were so happy to meet their great-grandson! This picture will always being meaningful because it was the last picture taken of my Grandfather.

Duke, my son's 10 week old german shepherd puppy, is a camera ham! He would run a few feet, plop down, and look back at the camera. If he could talk, we are sure that he would have been saying, "Did you get this angle?"

I always anticipate the unexpected when my sister plans our family trips. This photo captures why. Still not sure how she made it all happen--just glad I had my camera. Taken in March of 2012 in Bryce Canyon, Utah.

Every fall I gather my family together to take photo's for our Christmas cards. To keep everyone happy, we all take turns posing. This was one of our favorites.

This is special to me because it is my grandson and his dog. It shows the love a boy has for his dog, even at a young age. This was taken by my daughter at her house in Castle Rock, Colorado. Pets are truly part of the family.

Ryleigh is such a joy to our family. A beauty with such a joyous personality. This was taken in Huntington Beach, California while her cousins were cheering her on.

This photo was taken on the 22nd of july 2015 in my back garden, this is my kitten Indica's reaction to my Staffordshire bull terrie Bucca sneezes, perfectly timed. As you can see it didnt bother my other cat Mckenzie.

This was my birthday present for me... The camera is on a ladder and we are all laying on a street :) I wanted the viewer to get a sense of just how many are in my family :)

Already when I was shooting the picture, I knew it would be one of my most favorite photos that I have taken to date. Michigan, October 21, 2012 I love the curiousity of a young child (my niece) discovering something new, in this photo it is a rooster who seems equally curious of the child. Here's Savannah, looking for the perfect pumpkin. The day was overcast, and I set my camera mode on program ISO 400, f6.3, 1/350sec.

Flying high in an airballoon over Cappadocia...the stunning views, gorgeous weather and breathtaking landmarks were an unbelievable experience.

I was in Jamaica at a girl's safety center. Girls here are either from an abusive or neglected background. Many smiles. They had a talent show that day and these girls won first prize. I especially like that they are posing for another photographer.

A camel decided to pose and smile with us while taking a selfie yesterday at the Giza pyramids.

This image was taken with the newly re-released Kodak TMAX P3200 35mm film.  It depicts the pop act, Matt and Kim performing recently at Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland.

My world revolves around my horse. She has been with me through every rough bump in my life, and does nothing but show me love and compassion. She will do anything I ask of her and follows me around like a puppy dog. I would be lost without my horse to keep me smiling everyday. I took this picture on October 24th at my farm and it shows only a glimpse of the love and care she gives me. She is my horse and my best friend and there is nothing better than getting a warm fuzzy hug from my horse Chargie.

This was my son's first trip to a pumpkin patch, taken in October 2010. He was amazed with all of the colors and pumpkins. He was given this balloon and I happened to capture this sweet, innocent moment.

On a walk through the pumpkin patch my Golden Bravo encountered this designer pumpkin.

It is a picture of my granddaughter and she is always special to me. It was taken at Halloween in my yard.

I took this picture on a cold day in late November. The colors were so vivid... the tree, the girls clothes, and their eyes just seemed to really stand out.

I took this image during a photo session with my friends two sons in November, 2012 in downtown Rome, GA. I had just wrapped the session when I saw the boys walking hand in hand and could not resist this candid shot.

These are my children Casey and Hailey. They were enjoying the fall leaves, and putting up with daddy bothering them to get a picture. It was taken this fall in the leaves at our home.

This picture was taken in September, during a tournament in St. Peters, Missouri: high school JV softball game. You're witnessing a spectacular catch at 3rd base, and a jubilant pitcher. My daughter has been on a community rec-league team with both girls for several years, and it was a true "Kodak Moment". The whole team went wild.

This was taken in August in Arkansas during an extremely humid morning. In between wiping off my lens and trying to keep up with this little tot who just turned one, I was lucky to capture this silly face. Just makes you smile!

During my trip in Madagascar we had a lot of fun with the local children who likes to takes selfies with my phone

Getting children to pose for a photo is hard enough but add to that them being on a swing? The moment captured is truly rare and fleeting. This photo was taken at a park in San Francisco's Chinatown on May 3rd of 2009. This urban park had older folks playing cards and kids running around. A modern town square.

This was a spontaneous pose on Elli's part. She peeked out just at the moment I was clicking the camera!

This picture is so special to me because it really captures my daughter's playful spirit. While I was trying to rake leaves, Grace kept jumping in the piles and I thought it was such a "kodak moment!" You can really see her personality come through.

Tommy loved playing in the corn box on a beautiful fall day.

We attended an annual walk called Forever Footprints with our daughter and grandson to honor all babies gone to soon. We walked with thousands of other families that were there for the same cause, their babies. My husband captured this tender moment as my grandson’s name was being read. My daughter a.k.a mommy and little brother were presented with a beautiful white rose to walk with during the walk. A  rose for a son and a big brother who is truly loved and missed.

I just happened to catch the priceless expression on his face at the right moment!

I love how comfortable these sisters are with one another. It was a beautiful moment to witness and capture!

This picture is of my 3 year old daughter Elladiss. It was taken while we were painting pumpkins for Halloween. At first I had done the typical Mom thing and spread out a bunch of newspaper to keep things neat. We were having so much fun that eventually both of us embraced the mess!

I took this photo last Halloween as my kids were crossing the street to go Trick or Treat at this house. The house was the best in the neighborhood; it looked very spooky with the fake smoke all around it.
