KODAK MOMENT of the Day

Getting children to pose for a photo is hard enough but add to that them being on a swing? The moment captured is truly rare and fleeting. This photo was taken at a park in San Francisco's Chinatown on May 3rd of 2009. This urban park had older folks playing cards and kids running around. A modern town square.

This was a spontaneous pose on Elli's part. She peeked out just at the moment I was clicking the camera!

This picture is so special to me because it really captures my daughter's playful spirit. While I was trying to rake leaves, Grace kept jumping in the piles and I thought it was such a "kodak moment!" You can really see her personality come through.

We attended an annual walk called Forever Footprints with our daughter and grandson to honor all babies gone to soon. We walked with thousands of other families that were there for the same cause, their babies. My husband captured this tender moment as my grandson’s name was being read. My daughter a.k.a mommy and little brother were presented with a beautiful white rose to walk with during the walk. A  rose for a son and a big brother who is truly loved and missed.

I just happened to catch the priceless expression on his face at the right moment!

I love how comfortable these sisters are with one another. It was a beautiful moment to witness and capture!

This picture is of my 3 year old daughter Elladiss. It was taken while we were painting pumpkins for Halloween. At first I had done the typical Mom thing and spread out a bunch of newspaper to keep things neat. We were having so much fun that eventually both of us embraced the mess!

I took this photo last Halloween as my kids were crossing the street to go Trick or Treat at this house. The house was the best in the neighborhood; it looked very spooky with the fake smoke all around it.

This is a photo of 6 month old twin girls taken at their pediatrician's office. Mother looked down & saw this. Unbelievable how twins react to one another.

It makes my heart melt every time I look back at it. This picture demonstrates how much dog and owner love each other. Hugs are most important in keeping the happiest relationships. The photo was taken in South Lake Tahoe, CA. The picture is of a pet, but also is a best friend forever.

This my Autistic son who has been terrified of water all his life. This year he has had one on one lessons to swim and this is the first time he has been on a beach and played in the sea. The picture is taken at Bude, UK where he played for hours. A very special milestone for all the family

This is me dancing to some Bollywood tunes during my Wedding Reception in Lake Placid. After a long day of some traditional Indian Wedding Ceremony it was time to party! 

It was taken in our backyard and was not planned. Our dog, Coakley, was looking through the fence at the neighbors and our daughter, Ella, wanted to see what was going on.

This is a picture of my granddaughter as she is looking at her Uncle Mike's dog tags. It is special because both of ther parents are dear to me, and because Uncle Mike  served in Iraq. The picture was taken in my front yard.

My nephew and my dog taken last June at my house. I want my life to be this complicated.

Every time my granddaughter comes to visit us she runs straight to the grapes in the garden.

The love between a pet and child is so beneficial to us humans, showing us unconditional love teaching younger children responsibilities. This picture was taken in my bedroom, my daughter was upset that I wouldn't let her wear a skirt. When I came out of the shower she had fallen asleep like this with him , they slept for over a hour together just like this. Under the category Pets, well because he is our pet .

This picture is special to me because these girls are the best girls ever to know! I am a senior in high school, and I've grown up with these girls and they have become some of my closet friends! This picture was taken at one of our soccer games during a tournament over christmas break. I was injured at the time so I decided to take some shots of my team! This picture relates to the theme because it shows my most personal friends, girls I consider my family!

I took this picture during the rehearsal for the opening ceremony of festival ¨Sarajevo Winter.¨ In sub-zero temperatures, these girls didn't bother standing for hours, and they had fun. I just love the look in their eyes.

Rain, 10 months, shared her Kodak-moment snooshy face with us yesterday.  She started making this face when she wasn't crazy about something she ate, but she got enough laughs from it that she pretty much does it on command now.  8)

This photo was taken during a local Hindu festival in India. The smile of the child was really sweet i could not help sharing it to the world

This is my friends daughter Keshia. We had some fresh fallen snow and I shot this of her having fun and blowing snow at me. The snow is so light and as she blowing it seems to have a little magic to the image.

This was a fun day at Walt Disney World! I captured my daughter having sooo much fun on the teacup ride. What a moment to capture and treasure!

Winter is fun and we have to use it. This is a wonderful time to share quality time with kids and family. Winter will not shy soccer away from this soccer maniac. I took the picture in my backyard, after a snowfall close to Sarnia, ON, Canada.

I took this photo last winter of Braiden and Connor. They were tired of getting their pictures taken and had enough of it all.

This was my daughter's first time in a kayak. My son just finished stuffing her into the kayak, gave her a push and was getting into his. My daughter seems to be musing about the wonders ahead while waiting for him to catch up.

Getting ready for Christmas like....Chop chop!! ???

We live on a Wheat Farm in Central Utah. The only neighbor's we have are my Husband's Parents. I often watch my kids walking to their "Grandmother's House and thinking to myself how lucky we are to live so close. As I was walking behind my little boy I watched him as he made sure to walk in the fresh deep untouched snow. I loved how much was enjoying every step he took! I took this on December 16,2015 a couple days after we had a pretty nice snow storm. Little boys and Fresh snow--it doesn't get any better than that!

I took this photo in a snowstorm. This sweet 10 week old puppy wasn't sure how he felt about his first snow.

This picture is so meaningful to me because it has always been so hard to get all my children in a photograph together. For a moment they forgot that they nit pick each other and sat close and gave me the best Christmas gift ever. I will never forget this moment. So fleeting but so worth it.

Took this Dec 8th 2012 when my family came to visit me in Ponce Inlet FL. Just moved here. It happen to be 80 the weekend they were here. So we went to play on the beach. So funny it was Dec and we are on the beach.

Lucy recently joined our family and has added a great deal of love (and curiosity) to our home. While she was away having her spay surgery, we decided to put up our Christmas tree. Within hours of returning home, she made it her own personal playground. We're trying to deter too much activity, but she insists she's just fine! I'm surprised she sat still long enough for this picture, but I'm glad she did. IT captures her personality perfectly! We're happy to share our holiday spirit with you.

I was at an outdoor Christmas festival when a mom put her child down next to a Christmas tree exhibit to take his picture. I don't think she realized he was still sleeping. Behind her I snapped this shot right before he awoke. It was all sugar plums!
