KODAK MOMENT of the Day

This is my friends daughter Keshia. We had some fresh fallen snow and I shot this of her having fun and blowing snow at me. The snow is so light and as she blowing it seems to have a little magic to the image.

This was a fun day at Walt Disney World! I captured my daughter having sooo much fun on the teacup ride. What a moment to capture and treasure!

Winter is fun and we have to use it. This is a wonderful time to share quality time with kids and family. Winter will not shy soccer away from this soccer maniac. I took the picture in my backyard, after a snowfall close to Sarnia, ON, Canada.

I took this photo last winter of Braiden and Connor. They were tired of getting their pictures taken and had enough of it all.

This was my daughter's first time in a kayak. My son just finished stuffing her into the kayak, gave her a push and was getting into his. My daughter seems to be musing about the wonders ahead while waiting for him to catch up.

We live on a Wheat Farm in Central Utah. The only neighbor's we have are my Husband's Parents. I often watch my kids walking to their "Grandmother's House and thinking to myself how lucky we are to live so close. As I was walking behind my little boy I watched him as he made sure to walk in the fresh deep untouched snow. I loved how much was enjoying every step he took! I took this on December 16,2015 a couple days after we had a pretty nice snow storm. Little boys and Fresh snow--it doesn't get any better than that!

I took this photo in a snowstorm. This sweet 10 week old puppy wasn't sure how he felt about his first snow.

This picture is so meaningful to me because it has always been so hard to get all my children in a photograph together. For a moment they forgot that they nit pick each other and sat close and gave me the best Christmas gift ever. I will never forget this moment. So fleeting but so worth it.

This photo is special to me because it is my nephew making one of his many handsome little expressions. I took it while trying to get photos for Christmas cards.

I took this photo during our church Christmas program. I think it captures the beauty of innocence in a child and is full of holiday spirit.

Took this Dec 8th 2012 when my family came to visit me in Ponce Inlet FL. Just moved here. It happen to be 80 the weekend they were here. So we went to play on the beach. So funny it was Dec and we are on the beach.

Lucy recently joined our family and has added a great deal of love (and curiosity) to our home. While she was away having her spay surgery, we decided to put up our Christmas tree. Within hours of returning home, she made it her own personal playground. We're trying to deter too much activity, but she insists she's just fine! I'm surprised she sat still long enough for this picture, but I'm glad she did. IT captures her personality perfectly! We're happy to share our holiday spirit with you.

Our granddaughter was always so scared of Santa. So he was going to ease in from behind her and a catch hit him in his back and he groaned and she turn and Shelia snapped the picture just in time. My all time favorite. Our Santa (very dear friend) passed away a couple of years ago so we cherish the pictures.

This picture was taken on December 11, 2012 while the baby was napping near our Christmas Tree. As I was shooting the picture, it reminded me of a portion of The Night Before Christmas, "as dreams of sugarplums danced in their heads"!

My husband, Jonathan, is in the army and this month we have been stationed in Alaska. It’s the first time we live somewhere with snow and all that the cold brings with it. Being from the island of Puerto Rico this weather and lifestyle is completely different of what we are used to. So we have set our minds to make the best of this experience and learn all we can!

Winter is here and children are having fun sleighing in the snow in our neighborhood. 

Baby's first snow in Portland, OR. We are not used to snow so the whole city shuts down with even the lightest dusting. We took advantage of this and cozied up at home after discovering this fluffy cold white stuff!

Looking back at 2018, this is a moment I will cherish - the first time my newborn daughter opened her eyes and not only looked at me but seemed to know I was her momma. 

Lucy has been in love with snow since her first winter. This moment captures her love for the snow in her smile and her eyes. This photo was taken outside of our home in Royal Oak, Michigan. This photo expresses the feeling of a "winter wonderland" through the eyes of a two year old.

I took this photo as I watched my 7 year old fly down a big hill on a beautiful old sled, left behind in our attic by a previous owner. It was taken in January, after a rather large snowstorm. It was a perfect wintery Kodak moment!

I like the way it reflects the mood that evening on the beach. It was taken on a Santa Barbara, CA beach just below Shoreline Park in January. It definitely is a 'people at play' picture on that memorable evening.

This was taken on New Year's Day 2010 in Philadelphia, PA, while waiting for the train into the city. It was just a simple loving kiss that happened to be captured on camera. My boyfriend and I love this picture because it didn't just capture a kiss but also our love.

In January, while 18 month old Alex napped, Daddy built a snowman. When he awoke, Alex was so excited to put on his coat and go out and play. He was so impressed with the snowman, and after staring at it, he gave it lots of hugs.

I had the privilege of returning to Africa this year to work with the many orphans in the country. This picture was taken in Kenya during July at an orphanage there. The young girl's name is Ann Petrice and she is carrying her baby sister.

Hudson Clark is a 4 month old little guy who loves his dinosaurs! He lights up any room he’s in and brings pure joy to his Mom and Dad! ??

Even though we are getting older it doesn't mean we can't still have fun. This was a shot I took for a challenge called "first person." I took it in January after a lovely big storm here in Athol, Massachusetts -- and it was a fun picture to take.

I like the determined expression that our twelve-year-old son, Jake, had on his face, as he started down the hill on his snowboard! The sport/action setting on my EasyShare is excellent for motion shots like this.

Is it really winter? I caught Beau making the most of the end of the day, enjoying every last minute of the unseasonably warm weather we'd been having. This was shot at sunset, late January, at the local elementary school's playground.
