KODAK MOMENT of the Day

My boyfriend and I took our dog to the beach on the ugliest day possible. The sky was a blanket of gray on a cold, windy day. I took this picture just as my dog (d'Artagnan) was jumping for a treat. It's a comical silhouette juxtaposed on top of a dreary scene.

Went out for an evening stroll as a family, and I wanted to capture a Kodak moment of my kids.  We live full time in an RV so outside time is crucial.  When I told them to smile, this was the result, lol.  Love my little hams!  

When you feel a gut instinct to capture the moment, trust it as you never know what you can come up with ?

I love this picture of my five year old twins because they look so cute in their hats. I told them to put their heads together and smile!

I took this photo on one of the last days of 2019 along the Turnagain Arm nearby Anchorage, Alaska. It was a miserably cold day, and it was early in the morning. The weather did not look promising when out of nowhere this epic battle of light and darkness unfolded with sunshine breaking through, albeit only briefly. 

As I reminisce about my dog, who is now turning 3, I remember the "firsts." He was so excited to play out in the snow, and to this day he still hops around the backyard like the 6 week old puppy he was in this picture. I love my dog.

My Love of the Violin

Kevin is our son and he, like many other toddlers, loves his blankie.

Juno is the first dog we have ever had and she is the ultimate Boston Terrier that is adored! This was taken in the early morning hours in California in our home. Juno loves to snuggle in blankets and always looks so snug.

I took this picture of my son on a snowy day in January. I love to look at it during the heat of summer — when we tend to forget how cold and icy it can be, and we wish for summer.

This picture shows the magic of early spring sunset and invokes serene feeling and admiration for another beautiful day. I took this picture at the Manhattan Beach pier, California, it seems to sum one's feelings after a nice vacation and invites one back again.

This was the first day these two met, after we brought baby N home. They had an instant connection and showed us that a brothers bond is like nothing else. 

This is my brother who is an amazing musician. Both music and nature seem to soothe the soul.

Some large colourful graffiti on the walls of a housing society in Chennai by St+rt India Foundation had made it a sort of a neighbourhood attraction. So the community arranged for a night of entertainment at this venue to celebrate the new art work and bring some cheer to its residents. This is where I spotted this girl representing a troupe of theatrical magicians all ready to perform her act. It felt like her enthusiasm had brought a little magic to the already exciting evening!

Sliding down the dunes of Wadi Araba in Jordan is just one of the many sites of the region. Wadi Araba is one of the lesser known areas in Jordan. Full of sand dunes with hidden oasis's, it is a land roamed by camels, lived on by the local Bedouins.

This picture was taken at Stella Point - 5685 meters above sea level - on top of Mount Kilimanjaro. After a 6 hour hike through the cold night, we reached the summit at 06:20. This was our first sight!

I brought my granddaughter Gianna to the Myakka River State Park near Sarasota, Florida to view the vast prairie of a coreopsis bloom.  Gianna delighted in running through the yellow blossoms with a small bouquet in her hand.

This photo makes me see how anywhere can make you feel alive even in the pouring rain.
