KODAK MOMENT of the Day

I'm an ultra runner. In our training we meet early in the woods where we run. This morning I was standing by the lake, waiting for my running mate to arrive. Meanwhile, the sunrise began. An amazing and beautiful moment that I took the time to photograph while the light was absolutely magical.

A last minute road trip to Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada with my beautiful wife Hannah left us both marveling at some of nature’s precious gifts. 

Two visiting workers near the Baltic sea, found a place with a beautiful view for a heartfelt conversation.

Through my eyes as a father. 

Life has been good seeing my son’s personality come through over the last two years and half. I hope that he learns to be kind and embraces the beauty life has to offer.

First time taking my son there and he loved it. It was breath taking and he didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody

I am a photographer/videographer so naturally I named my new Beagle pup Kodak.

We recently went camping at the Mogollon Rim in Arizona and went for a hike around the lake. It’s a nice quick escape from the Phoenix summer heat! Our little pup eventually got tired of walking himself so we put him in our backpack and captured this adorable #kodakmoment

When you watch the sunset it helps you clear your mind and it allows you to dream of a new bright tomorrow. These moments are gold ?

Plus, pizza & wine along with some good company makes it even better ?

This photo was captured our first day of virtual learning.  I have two rowdy boys, ages 4 and 6.  I did a huge transformation over Christmas break 2019 and changed our playroom into a work room...which is now our virtual classroom.  Of course, having two young boys close in age, it was only fitting to capture how us mamas really feel about having our kids at home for school.  Having a small business, while being at home while trying to navigate my children through school and zoom calls isn’t easy, but I just wanted to share that even when you’re super organized and have a beautiful room, these “Kodak moments” are still happening...and I am so glad this one did because we will ALWAYS remember this time, this crazy time, but in the end, everything is going to be fine...really.

Took a like hike of the beaten path to this awesome little spot with this awesome little man.

First Day of Virtual school. 

Marvel'ous day out at our beautiful Sunshine Coast beach!  Great day allround.

This picture fits her sunny personality. 40 acres of sunflowers, and she was the brightest flower in the field. 

A fun, exhilarating, adrenaline-rush, confidence booster of a moment.  

In a split second the sun came from behind the clouds.......there was the moment 

Nature brings me peace. It gives me the feeling that i am free. I love to share that feeling with my family. 

While it certainly looked different than in previous years, today was the first day back to school for my kiddos! And they were so excited! 

This is a picture from my daughters First Day back at “School” taking virtual classes. Happily embracing this new normal. 

Favorite day of the week is #throwbackthursday and this photo was taken exactly one year ago. This to us represents in the best way the tight bond and love between a dog and their humans.  

Our twins were born in April and this was the first time we were able to spend time out on the water with friends and no children.

Spent the weekend camping with family and our four legged friends. These two were all over each other until they were told is was time to depart. 

Today is the first day of 3rd grade.  Even though we are not with our friends and physically at school, we know we will have a great year.  

We were getting ready to leave Milan and saw a beautiful cafe with authentic Italian gelatos, I’ve never had it before so of course we stopped and went in! I’m not a huge ice cream fan but this was the MOST AMAZING cone I’ve eaten in a long time. Was the perfect way to end our mini vaca, and leave with something sweet. ?

My nephews got in the roundabout and I decided to start spinning fastly  so I could get some motion blur. One of them started to break the speed and what I got was an amazing shot with him focused in the center of the action.

Hiking with my family in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan always makes for a good Kodak Moment! :) 

This was my daughter’s first time on her roller skates and I just so happen to be behind them with my sons in the stroller. It was perfect and I liked how the image looked in black and white. They are inseparable. She is a daddy’s girl forever.

Nature teaches more than we think. Grounding and surrounding yourself with all of which nature has to offer established and replenishes your whole body’s energy force. By connection to the bioelectricity of the earth you connect to a deeper self and begin to channel higher vibrancy. Next time you find yourself outdoors take the time to acknowledge all of which surrounds you. The wood cracking under your feet, the fresh air travelling in your lungs, the colours, the wind and the birds. Start being mindful and present and realize how much more you could expand your perception just by changing and accommodating new ways of thinking and experiencing the now in a different manner.

If I could choose favorite sunset experience - this one would be it ?.

It was in August After 18 hours when the colors are sweet.

My english spaniel was scared to swim and  my daughter was trying to reassure her.

a holiday in Sardinia, my motherland.  friends, family, love, a dip in the most beautiful sea in the world.

It was my daughter’s first time apple picking so she was very excited. Most of the apples were on top of the trees so i picked her up to grab some. We could not stop laughing and luckily my sister was there to capture the moment, it was a very fun day and we cannot wait to go back!

Miko the rescue dog visits Letchworth State Park in New York on a road trip from Denver, CO to Cambridge, MA for his mom to go to Harvard for graduate school! 

While my partner and I are both January babies, we sureeee love the summertime! Here’s a photo of us enjoying the last bit of summer and soaking up that beautiful sunshine ☀️.  We spent a magical day at the Sooke Potholes and had the most perfect weather! On another note, I think my splashes were pretty amazing too! Like the title says, not a competition but I think the picture says it all ????.

I took this when me and my daughter was hiking in the woods nearby our house outside Örebro, Sweden. She had a little can of soapbubbles in her pocket and began to blow some bubbles. I snapped it with my Pentax MX. The film I used was a Kodak portra 400.

Nothing says fall to me more than picking apples! So we headed to our local farm fresh market to pick some of our own!

FALL IS NEAR ? and we are definitely starting to feel it.

This morning Micah sat on the porch waiting on his Ganny and Papa to pick him up for church! His excitement for Jesus and church truly warms my heart! Y’all see the ? mic in his hand looking like he’s going to deliver the sermon?

Our dog Henry took awhile to get to know our Grandson Jack. Jack was very gentle and patiently waiting for Henry’s approval!! It finally happened!!❤️

There’s nothing quite like the first rays of morning as they kiss changing leaves of fall. I struggled to get to this point - I wanted nothing more than to head home on Friday night after a long first week back to teaching. Tears were shed as I drove three hours to my campsite, parked my car, ate a PB&J, and wrapped myself in several blankets before drifting off to a chilly sleep.

I woke up at 4AM to snag a parking spot at the trail head and started hiking; I sat on the summit of Mt. Jo wrapped in blankets to fight off the 24 degree morning. It was all worth it for this stunning view of the MacIntyre Range to start my hiking day!
