I took my little girl to see the Christmas displays at our local garden centre for the first time and her face lit up as she saw all the Christmas trees, decorations, Santa and snowmen. I will remember that face forever and i have this beautiful picture to treasure and share her excitement with all of our friends and family

The holidays are always about looking cute in somebody’s living room! My dad is always goofing and photobombing my photographs no matter how fancy I look!

I was good with myself 

This photo was one of the last frames I took on my first ever roll of Kodak film, in my first ever analog camera. Lazing around some train tracks, my partner was keeping busy while I metered some nearby plant-life. Turning around, I found them balancing on the railing and snapped this picture.

My best friend came to visit the Yukon for a whole month after not seeing each other for over two years. This was taken on White Mountain, Yukon Territory. 

A long 12 mile hike through the Texas woods. I stopped to rest with my Minolta x700 and a fresh roll of Portra 800. 

Reminded of God’s unfailing Grace as I climb mountains and see the world from views most people only dream. Don’t let 2021 be defined by a pandemic that we can’t control. Be gracious. Be kind. Be thankful, and love so hard! 

Needing to work from home but had a clingy kitten that kept trying to snuggle up against me. What to do? Swaddle!

First snowfall of the year started late at night on Christmas Eve, waking up on Christmas Day to a beautiful white Christmas! Couldn't pass the opportunity to go for a walk in the park and shoot some pictures with my wife dressed in the season's colours.

Shot on Ektar 100, a film that's become my favourite in 2020, both in 35 and 120 format.

When I was returning home from a busy day...I looked up in the sky and saw this...I felt relaxed. 

It was my #kodakmoments

Honestly this is the best part of my weekends.

I’m usually up around 4-5am six days per week, so I miss out on morning snuggles.

Any day now we’ll be adding one more cuddle bug to this weekend ritual. And I can’t hardly wait ?.

I’ve been living in Australia for almost 2 years now and I’m constantly amazed by how many new beaches I casually stumble upon in Sydney. This particular one was Turimetta Beach and it’s just one out of 100s of beaches you’ll find in Sydney. 

 Je tire de ma mémoire chaque pas que j’ai fait dans la neige. Les matins éloignés, lorsque le bus scolaire était bloqué et l’école manquée. J’ai dix ans, je fais claquer la porte d’entrée, un bonnet en laine percé sur la tête et des bottes de neige trop grandes pour moi. J’arpente la seule route du village, celle qui serpente et enserre le clocher de granit. On saute par dessus le mur du cimetière, on franchi les tombes à petits pas. Je tiens fermement dans ma main la corde de ma luge verte jusqu’à notre point d’arrivée. C’est là qu’on court essoufflées, le bonnet maintenant de travers, les gants mouillés et les genoux cabossés. On monte, on redescend le minuscule monticule qui me parait plaine, montagne, alpage. Les rires et les jeux ne réveillent pas les dormeurs éternels, enveloppés de leurs manteaux blancs. Quelques mètres plus loins, nos luges se frôlent nos souffles se perdent dans l’air gris et la fumée des cheminées. Je tire de ma mémoire chaque pas que j’ai fait dans la neige. Aujourd’hui je ne sortirai pas la luge verte, je pose la question, depuis longtemps elle a été jetée, avec tout un tas de vieux jouets.

Our puppy was a rescue and very abused prior to coming to us. This was him with my son when we first got him. He loved him right away and hank the dog was very sweet with him.

Snow is beautiful & so much fun to play in.

It occasionally falls in my little corner of N.C. When it does, find me outside having a blast with my family. My daughters live for snowball fights & snow (ice) cream!

Jayden looks forward to playtime with dad when he gets home from work.

Some complain about the snow and cold but this photo is a reminder you can do what you love, even in the snow :) My son is almost 4 but for his 3rd birthday he asked for a set of golf clubs and hasn’t put them down since - even in our chilly Wisconsin winter!

I've got a habit of dragging friends up the mountains surrounding Cape Town, for this photograph we raced up Lion's Head to catch the sun before it fell beneath the horizon. 

Enjoyed the long holiday weekend with a trip to the Cascade Mountains for skiing with the family. Our littlest one can’t quite ski yet but loves  to be included in the action via this handy carrier.

Our family outing to the coast involved a walk through the dunes towards the sea, on a very cold and blustery day. Captured using a tripod on a 50+ year old TLR camera using Kodak Portra 400.

I have always loved the way that winter looks on film for some reason the grain and snow always comes together perfectly. So after a nice snow fall we headed up to a relatives house north of the city and took some cool winter time photos. This was also my first time home developing and loved every second of bring this and a couple other photos to life. 

The kind of hug that lets you know you’re loved! 

We were very fortunate to go on vacation this year (socially-distanced, of course!). The little village we went to was probably about 10 miles away from any civilization so we spent a lot of time wandering about and making pictures. This one was taken on a wobbly dock we found one day

We were with friends in banff during the pandemic but at the time in Calgary Canada it just seemed like a moment where everything was "normal". We are a couples page but we just live in the moment a document in the moment 

I wanted to capture a candid moment of intimacy and joy between two lovers. This picture was taken at an Orange County beach on a cloudy day.

The bond between a boy and his dog is truly one of the purist forms of kinship I can think of.  My son and our dog are completely content to let the troubles of the world go as they play catch at our neighborhood  park as the sunsets. 

Our feet have taken so many steps together. 

I took this photo in Venice, there was a birthday party and we were celebrating in this beautiful terrace! The light was perfect and I wanted to capture this moment.

To have the opportunity to be in such a beautiful and magical place next to the person I love, that’s what I call being lucky. 

The photo was taken in London with my analog camera Minolta X300. It shows two highlights of my visit to London - very talented musicians and the amazing Tate Museum. I created the overlay effect double exposure.

Today is my last day of being 25, and I’m so grateful for making it this far. Year 25 was probably one of the best years of my life. I got to go to so many places, climb mountains, grow closer to my wife, get closer to finishing my masters degree, have ups, have downs, drink a lot of coffee, start my photography, venture out in life, and so much more. Who in the world knows what year 26 will look like, but Lord-Willing, I’m determined to make the best of what I’m given, and have some more adventures that I can share later in life one day.
