It's just a little slice of life from this incredibly beautiful little coastal town in the middle of nowhere.

Back to school for these brothers! And just like that, they’re off to Kindergarten and Third Grade ❤️.

Spontaneous trip to our favourite beach Brydegaard Strand in Assens with four of my five kids. 5 year old Lykke Mie discovered the little aquarius in the sea and was absolutely stunned by the little creatures in the water along the beach and wanted to show me how amazing they were ?

During summer, the golden hour light in Cornwall is like nothing else. I’d always wanted to shoot some portraits in the corn fields with this light. So I took out a roll of Kodak Portra 800 on my 6x6 medium format Kowa six and blasted a roll. This frame stood out to me for its simplicity and the feeling it creates :)

A uniq fact about life is that the most unexpected moments are the most memorable moments.

I am a producer, and in 2018, June , I was shooting for Philips at Lukkien Studios and it was my birthday, our photographer asked me to pose next to one of our guest stars from the commercial , an amazing golden retriever , so I did!

If I had a dollar for every time someone has told me I’m too extra. Yet that same level of “extra” is what keeps me young and draws new people to me. Til the day I die I will always be me and I will always let the child inside of me live freely. Now excuse me while I drink from my fountain.

When multiple elements in photography come together. 

⁣Gelato tastes like summer. You know the one.... the summer of childhood....like the smell of chlorine & sunscreen. The feeling of a squishy sand and soft grass under your toes. That feeling of a warm shower and comfy clothes after a day at the beach.⠀

Having had a lot of time of going nowhere, you really get to think about where you’ve been. Italy has been on my mind, but it’s nothing grandiose. It’s the little things, like the drippy scoops of gelato while sitting on a dock and watching the most fascinating people walk by.....it’s my kids eating pizza and sipping Fanta while giggling with their friends in the comforting warm and cozy glow in Tuscany....it’s hearing the rain from a summer storm, pouring outside, while we eat dinner and have conversations with our friends in Lake Como. ⠀

What do all these memories have in common? Food and people. A couple of the best things on earth, that seem to be at the root of every good memory and story. It’s not about the place as much as it is about everything else. You don’t have to go to Italy to make lasting memories. Great memories can happen just about anywhere.⠀

That’s my hope for this summer. That in all  of its normal imperfections, that the memories that last will be about the things that matter. I’m talking shared: meals, time, stories, and laughs. We missed a lot of that last Summer, but I’m really hoping we can make up for a lot of it this year. ⠀

My husband had just walked through the door when our corgi, Scottie, excitedly jumped up to greet him home. The snapshot captured a sweet moment where it looked like both were dancing! 

No more training wheels. A wonderful father son moment, learning to ride his bicycle.

You spend most of your time inside your head. Make sure it’s a nice place to be. ✨☀️✨

Took a quit snap in the driveway before first day of TK! Wanted to show off Sonic backpack! 

As I was chilling with my friend in Paris, she blessed the sun for his arrival. She reminded me of a character named Fleabag in the eponymous series, hence this title.

I was standing on the corner taking a break and all the sudden this car pulled up and this family started piling out. The two kids get out of the car as the rest of the family was shuffling in the back. The older brother puts his arm around his brother and immediately points up at the Empire State Building and they both looked up and pure amazement. Right as that happened I picked up my camera and took the last two frames on my roll, this was frame 35. So grateful to have captured this beautiful moment, made me think of my brothers. Hopefully I can find this family one day and give it to them. I love this city.

Basking in the sun whilst mum works from home. Life is gooood ☀️ ?

It was one of the only sunny days at the lake on our two week vacation (we had LOTS of wildfire smoke) and the grown kids were having a summersault contest on the mat w/the littles. It was an afternoon of tons of laughter, joy and reunion. We travel with 4 families every year to this special lake in northern Idaho. 

This took place at Priest Lake at Elkins Resort. 

Three of my grandsons enjoying Long Beach, Washington, just like I've done every year since I was a child.  It's our favorite family getaway, and a welcome chance to be together in new ways (like riding bikes on the sand). Clara the Beautiful loves it too!

The image was taken in a beautiful spot only accessible by off-road vehicle in Northern Michigan. The kids were excited to explore, so I simply had to sit back and wait for them to do something cute!

Yosemite is magical at all hours, but the golden moments preceding sunset are extra special. This was taken on descent from a late afternoon hike up to Columbia Rock in late winter 2020. Nikon FE + Kodak Ultramax 400, developed and digitized by Indie Film Lab.

After raising a monarch from the caterpillar stage this summer, my kids and I set him free back into nature and enjoyed a few quiet moments with him before he left us for his new life.

On family trip to celebrate sons graduation from HS, & 20 yr wedding anniversary!

After a short hike up one of the mountains in the Boise area, I saw these two girls smiling with each other and enjoying the view. It was an opportunity too good to pass up, so I interrupted them to ask if I could take their photo and they agreed.

My girlfriend and I are just a simple couple trying to get better at photography. 

We want to travel the country and capture it in memory of her and my mom who both have passed away.

FEAR IS A LIAR ?

What I have found is - whatever I’m telling myself is a choice. I’m creating my reality with how I frame it. I have done things over the last 5 years that I never thought I could do - We are far more capable then we know. #jump #befearless

Choosing my internal dialogue is intentional + work. I do it by creating my list of truths. 

•I have enough 

•I’m scared, but I can walk into it strong 

•Change is a constant + I control my response 

•I can do hard things

•I can learn new skills 

•I can choose to adapt 

There’s always reasons to quit and there’s always reasons to keep going, FEED the one that takes you where you’re going.
