This photo is her favorite of my mom as it captures the moment of two things she loves to do take photos of me and the sunsets.⛅️?

I wanted to get some fun shots of the birthday boy but he wasn't in a great mood, so I put my second camera on the floor, moved away and just waited. Kids are super curious by nature and sure enough he started fiddling with the camera and that's when I got this image. 

By the North Sea on Aberdeen beach, we try to destroy the sea but always end up giving in to it's mass and power.

This little lady is leading her aunt’s professional cutting horse! She comes from a riding family and it’s starting her training early! This was taken during their family photoshoot with me and her mom really wanted to get a photo like this. 
 

It ended up snowing up there 2 days after we went on this hike in the Cascades. I’m so glad we impulsively jumped in the car and made it up there, despite the challenges of hiking with a baby and toddler. The fall colors are so magnificent and so fleeting in the mountains.

This weekend I went to Arizona to visit my best friend of 15 years and to celebrate Friendsgiving. The craziest part is that November was when we met back when we were both in high school. So I guess we got to celebrate our Friendiversary as well. 

When Lindsey moved to AZ, I thought that was going to be the beginning of us drifting apart. But the truth is, we are closer than ever and I am so grateful for that. 

This weekend was all about friendship and family and love and remembering how important it is to appreciate all of it. I think we all lose sight of the importance of the little things. 

I was fortunate enough to meet some incredible humans this weekend as well as seeing some beautifully familiar faces. We danced, we laughed, we hugged, and of course…we ate a lot of yummy food. These are the moments that make life worth living ❤️

We went for a hike in the mountains and it was full of autumn magic… these fleeting colors were covered in snow 2 days later. This 4 year old was leading the way, scampering up and down steep slippery rocks, crossing streams and hiking like a pro… in chilly 20 degree weather no less. A true mountain girl.

My wonderful kitty, Bella, saved my life! She literally was sent to me after prayer, sadness from losing my old kitty, and loneliness. I answered an ad to adopt and rehome their 11 month old pure Lynx point Persian, for a nominal fee. All I needed to do was come visit and see if Bella warmed up to me. I guess the woman wanted to see if I was sincere. I think that was evident after 5 minutes with this beautiful fur-ball and her former 'mama'. I took Bella home along with all her toys, her food and her blankie.

Well it's been 2 years and here is a photo after our nightly grooming, still relaxed after brushing and totally relaxed on her back! I certainly love my little fur baby. She saves me every day! I love her very much!

We just became homeowners and got the opportunity to host our first Friendsgiving ever

Just looking at her, you wouldn't know it, but my mother, Latanyta Manuel, has an enormous amount of strength. However, while she has endured plenty, her head is always held high. It's truly a mystery. There are not many words to describe her character, so instead I will simply say thank you for being who are, mom. Love, your peanut.

Had family photos last weekend. Our son was not enjoying the photos whatsoever! 

it's officially December, the most beautiful month of the entire year! and means it's 24 days to christmas, hello december 1❄️? 

This beautiful moment was in mithra hotel Cappadocia, we woke up early to watch the sun rise and the beautiful hot air balloons. 

This image captures the moment my sister and I stopped for lunch on the first day of our 3-day backpacking trip through Yosemite National Park. This was a self-timer photo shot from a tripod.

Christmas is our favourite time of year, the whole family gets involved, especially our fur baby Nibbler!

I was at home and I had just loaded the kodak film into my olympus. Without thinking, I turned to the mirror and I took the picture.

A quiet moment, looking at Christmas lights, in a busy, noisy and funny shopping day with three kids ?

We love our moments together ? they are always full of love joy and fun ???

My three year old son helping to decorate the Christmas tree. He added the star but had to sit on my husband's shoulders to reach the top!

My daughter was able to each cookies with Santa this year and it was the most special and magical moment.

this photograph was taken in glacier national park in early november. after 7+ miles of uphill, slow travel due to 18 inches of fresh snow, i pulled out my camera close to the summit and loaded in a fresh roll of kodak film and began shooting. i hadn’t seen another human all day and my water had frozen inside of my pack, but deciding to take out my camera at the trail’s end, despite the harsh conditions, allows me now to look back on this moment. alone, weathered, but joyful. 

There is magic in Christmas, it smells like cinnamon and feels like love, embrace every new season

My human loves to take photos of me for my instagram, whenever I want, because I choose the moment ?

My 3 year olds first time seeing the tree this year, it’s the first year he really understands what Christmas is ?

There is nothing better at the holiday session than seeing the pure joy and magic in a child's eyes when they see Santa. It's a moment that will last forever. It's the moment they believe. 

My husband and I were meant to have bought and moved onto a sail boat. We have been working hard at the dream for two years and well, I guess most of our lives.

When life gives you limes instead of lemons, Chronic pain instead of endless happiness.

When what you have worked hard for is taken away and you now have to work harder every day just to make it through.

You just have to say my dream won’t be realised today.
It’s not a never, it’s just see you in a bit, but I’ll eventually make it.

We will sail away!’

I don’t post much these days because I have become recluse from the daily battle of pain, but I am strong and I know I will make it.
