KODAK MOMENT of the Day

After finishing a short hike up a hill with a rocky peak, I looked over at my buddy boy, Axel, and snapped a photo. It warmed my heart to look back at my phone and see how Axel smiled back at me.

Something our little family loves is traveling together. Road trips are a way for us to connect while we journey to a fun destination. Even our dog Atlas has a smile in the backseat, ready to go!

Our orange (tailless) manx cat, Edgrrrr, loves getting his morning drink from our sink. 

My grandmother used to have a cottage on the river and it was a place that served as the backdrop for many family activities and events growing up. This picture was made during one of our last summers there. My sister was watching me adjust my camera and when I saw her composure I just lifted and clicked without a second thought. It felt like a scene that would be important again one day. 

This was a family shoot and the weather was so bad.

We found an interesting place where we could shoot without getting wet. 

My son is in 8th grade now and I can’t believe he’ll start high school next year. In a blink of an eye he’ll be in college and I’ll miss seeing him doing his homework at the dining table. Images like this are even more valuable to me as time goes by. 

On January 3, 2022, Washington, DC received 8.5 inches of snow. It only lasted one day. I decided to seize upon the moment, load up some Kodak Portra 400 in my Canon AE-1 Program, and shoot some photos on Capitol Hill. I met up with some friends and shot this sweet photo of them!

This moment came from a 5 week trip travelling around the U.S. and Canada. 

Son and dad tuning up, changing cords and admiring the beautiful new electric guitar just bought this afternoon.

My husband and I are trying to get the boys outside more often. We are all definitely happier when we are active instead of couch potatoes.

We traveled to Spain to spend time with my parents and each other. We hiked up the hills with the six of us near Relleu and it was stunning!

Days spent together. Papa and Frankie, the best of buddies who love their days together exploring. Walking, public transport, eating out, parks, plane spotting, you name it they do it.  I loved this photo I captured of a frosty Winter morning, the sunlight and them hand in hand.

Holidays on the coasts of Chile.

This image is taken from the first roll of my new medium format camera, Pentax 645 on a 155mm lens. I enjoy shooting portraits most, and there’s something special about taking portraits of the girl you love. This one marked a special weekend, with many more to come.

This photo was taken of my 10 month old son. Smile makes people happy.

It was a reunion captured at a friend’s farewell party. Where you see a friend I had known since high school, the sister of my friend who had moved and her friend. 
It was a night of nostalgia & toasting cheers to new memories & friendships :)

As a street photographer moments like these bring me immense joy. An artist in their element singing their heart out purely for the love of the craft. You could tell this musician loves what he does. That human passion, that’s what gets me.

This is our little Mila the Diva in total relax mode. She loves daddy’s arms. She’s definitely spoiled but also very loving. 

Our family of three enjoying breakfast together. We try to eat as many meals as possible together at the table. 

As a travel & street photographer, I always look for frames that tell stories. And finding this frame while photographing the streets of Old Dhaka, Bangladesh is a favourite of mine for it depicts the unconditional love and bond between an aged couple being the support of each other.

My boyfriend and I like to travel around the world and discover new cities. That day we had been to Hamburg. We discovered many cool places there and ended the day under "Palms of Plastic".

Every now and then I buy a disposable camera and snap away. Took the camera with me to a wedding and caught some beautiful moments!

Quiet night at the coast. 

A delicate exchange of the human and animal relationship. When we look to animals, we should see their gentle qualities, and aspire to be gentle ourselves.

My little swimmers (and Jasper). So proud of Bertie and Millie being so brave in their first few swimming lessons.

I rarely spend any time in West Hollywood because it feels so far sometimes! A girlfriend of mine convinced me that I’d love this restaurant because it’s the epitome of an LA vibe. She was right; I definitely didn’t hate it from the plates we shared, to our cocktails, and the aesthetic decor both indoors and out.

We were out exploring on a cold day enjoying the outdoors. The pond was frozen with ducks walking over it and Robyn was very surprised to see so many ducks on the ice in the middle of the water! She loves being out within nature and embraced all to see out on our wintery walk. One of my favourite expressions from Robyn.

This 35mm Kodak gold roll documented my first solo surf trip to travel to Africa- Morocco. It created lots of memories for me and I love the grind and tone this film gave me. 

I love to capture raw moments between families. Sometimes I have to get creative and say something funny or have them tell each other a joke, but the genuine laughs that it produces sometimes is INCREDIBLE. I just being able to capture a moment in time. There is just nothing like it. Especially with children. They grow up way too fast.

We were invited to a party and my best friend was dancing so freely and so beautifully that I had to capture that moment. It was such a fun night and we had a blast saving together. As I took the picture she faced me and looked straight into the camera. This picture is one of my favorites i took so far. 

One of my son’s favorite pastimes. He loves playing video games with his best friends.
