I like the setting with the silhouetted figures in the canoes and the trees. Taken, summer 2006, Olympic National Park, WA. I placed it in the category Artistic/Creative because I converted it to B & W. The color version had basically no impact, however converting to B & W allowed improving contrasts without worrying about distorting colors. I recently had the privilege of photographing a former skipper of a PT boat during WWII. He piloted a small craft in the Pacific for nearly a year and had some terrific sea tales....especially being "...the only PT boat commander who didn't know JFK personally."
