Chill
Chill
It took 3 bottles of champagne, and a whole day of multiple takes to get this shot ! At the end of the day, the walls, tiles, clothes, camera, lenses everything was 'champagned' !

1,000 Dreams
1,000 Dreams
Editor's Choice: Comment on this picture in Kodak's "A Thousand Words" blog. This photo is one of my favorites because I turned an ugly construction site into a surreal landscape. The stones are actually chips of granite that looked silver in the camera. 5 inches outside the frame, there was construction tape and bulldozers, but the image itself looks so peaceful.

Belgian Night
Taken in Brugges, Belgium on a cool night in Sept 2007. We walked back to our room a different way and stumbled on this scene off a side street. I wonder how many thousands of travelers and residents have paused at this same spot.

Which button is it?
I took this picture in November 2007, in Troy, NH. I set my phone down in the chicken yard...was cleaning the coop..turned around and the chickens were comically attacking the phone. I had to run and get my camera!

City of Light
I love this picture and how light and shades interact with each other in such beautiful scenery.
I had to wait for the light from the tower to be in the right spot with the enough traffic in front of me.
It was worth the wait.

The Hug
Editor's Choice: Comment on this picture in Kodak's "A Thousand Words" blog. I spotted a troop of vervet monkeys moving through Mountain Zebra National Park in South Africa. This mother hugged her baby close. I was taken with their eyes, both so intense.

Yellowstone Morning
Firehole Cascades, Firehole River, Yellowstone. The river is heated by run-off from the thermal areas. The air temp at the time I took this was 27 degrees yet I could stand in the water and actually get warmer.

Rocky Mountain Lightning
Rocky Mountain Lightning
I had been trying to capture lightning on my camera for months at home in Columbus, OH and always without success. On a family trip to Rocky Mountain National Park, we stayed in a cottage on a lake; during a major storm one night I went out with my camera to try and capture the lightning and had several successful pictures. This picture relates to nature because it captures one of nature's wonders--lightning.
