This is a special picture, which shows action, youth, health, color and more. I like the hand reaching forward. I took this shot of my daughter couple years ago in a swimming pool.

This image was taken in July at Chicago's Navy Pier. I was watching the children enjoying themselves on the ride and thought that I would capture their happiness.

This is a photo of my brother, who lives in Charlotte, NC., taken during a very hot July day at his neighborhood pool. The photo captures him as he descends off a waterslide with a giant splash and a big smile. A father of 4 girls, including 2 teenagers, I was so tickled to have captured this youthful side him as it is a reminder to us all to stay forever young at heart.

This is a picture of a dear friends daughter. I took this on July 29th, 2011 on Two Lick Lake, Indiana, PA. Quinn is jumping of the front of my boat. We try and include as many family and friends to enjoy the boating season. This was taken with my KODAK CAMERA....Love it....

I'm a film photographer, recently I bought a 30mm for my medium format camera and this was the very first frame.  The lens is so huge that my 1-year-old was fascinated by it. I was able to capture a frame of her at her most inquisitive. She NEVER sits still so this is a rare and special picture for me. I see in this one frame all the excitement and intrigue of her youth. 

This was taken on the Manhattan Bridge, July 2011 - while walking on a breezy evening, viewfinder and shutter driven. Alicia's smile has quite an effect on me. She reminds me how beautiful thoughts can be in New York, and why I came here in the first place.

The Seattle Center Fountain is our kids favorite place to cool off.  Everybody seems to cool off in the Seattle Center Fountain on a hot sunny afternoon.

This is my son. It was over 100 degrees that day, and he was cooling off by riding his motocross bike through the mud. He had so much fun covered in all that mud!

This is my favorite pinhole photo I've shot. It pulls in all the elements I love about pinhole...muted, yet infinite focus, vignette, motion blur and stretching corners. And the subject is my daughter, which moves it from "pretty good" to "pretty perfect" for me. I shot it in May, 2013 while on holiday in Amelia Island, Florida. It encapsulates all that I love, my family, pinhole photography, and travel.

This photo comes from Georgia, where we know how to grow watermelons. Our 1 year old loved sitting for this photo--we were having a record breaking heatwave.

I was taking a picture of my Grandson and our cat jumped in unexpectedly. 

This picture was made in Italy (Abruzzo) in July. We went there for the holidays. This is my daughter Valerie. She is 6 years old and she learned to swim this past winter. Now she swims like a fish and enjoys it very much.

Had a splash celebrating my granddaughter, Coraline’s, first birthday at the Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead, NY.  Her brother, Jameson, showed her the best places to to view all the sea life as they swam around the huge tank. It was a great place for a birthday celebration!

This was taken at St. George Island state park in FL, June. My daughter caught this little guy & wanted to send him back into the water with a kiss!

This photo demonstrates the beautiful bond a person can create with an animal, this is my boyfriend and my pony, he was originally apprehensive around horses but they have built a friendship together. This photo shows the gentle nature of the horse. Taken at my home in Lincolnshire.

They just finished Sunday morning session of football coaching and wanted a way to release all their pent up energy. A fantastic way of doing that was to challenge each other in simple physical games like this high jump over a friend. Don’t you wish you could be a child again?

I took this picture of my daughter last November in Hawaii. It was my first experience of underwater shooting.

My granddaughters are always good natured although sometimes they lose patience when I try to take too many photos of them.
