I bought a can of yellow paint intending to shoot an abstract and it did not work out. Then a Yellow Challenge contest was announced. I bought some some sunflowers, opened the paint can, set a sunflower on the can after dipping some of the petals into the paint and shot away and repeated til I got one I liked. Can you imagine someone who has seen three centuries. U Pho Khin is a proud 106 year old Burmese gentleman, born at the end of the 19th century, living in a small, primative village on the edge of the Ayeyarwady river in Burma (between Bagan and Mandalay). Although he has lost all his teeth, he is otherwise healthy and walks (assisted) from his primative stick house to a seat in the shade every day. He has a clear mind and is highly alert. My husband and I went to Las Vegas and spent a little time at the pool. He fell asleep...I was bored...so as usual, I got out my camera.
