This is a picture of me with my camera. Im 15 years old and I love taking pictures. My camera means so much to me. I look at the world from behind a camera lense. I see the beauty in things because of photography. Im able to look at a situation and say, 'wow! look at that lighting!' or 'what great composition'. This was the first light house I've seen. it was taken an hour north of Santa Barbra CA. on a private beach the size of a small town. This is so special to me because these are my grandaughters. The picture was taken at a tournament in Canton MI last summer. Special meaning is that they are 5 mos. apart in age & are both very competetive on the soccer field but continue to encouage each other all the way. I loved how the sun behind Face Rock (see the forehead, nose, open mouth, and chin) formed a perfect halo around this lonely woman of the sea. It was such a cold night that, by the time we made our way back to the car, my husband and I could barely close our fingers into fists, but the colorful sunset was more than worth the trip!
