Taken at Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio. I kept thinking, "I wish people would get out of the way so I could take a good shot of the falls..." Then I looked beyond my own short-sightedness and saw what a nice interest this group of Amish ladies added to the scene. It's called "Seperate Ways" because of the split in the falls, the seperate culture of the Amish, and the one lady on the left looking away from the group. Stumbled across this little guy and his family of burrowing owls living in the parking lot of a strip shopping mall here in Davie, FL. Even though we are destroying their homes with constant building, nature finds a way to survive. They live right next to a pizza place and a bar. Amazing. I took this picture at a roadside produce stand near my home in late July. It's special to me because when I see winter pears, I know Summer is almost over and Fall will soon be here.
