As a swimmer, I always crave water whether it's actually swimming in a pool or drinking it from a water fountain. Here in this photo my friend, Jang, is drinking water out of a water fountain as we were coming back from the pool, on a hot day in Rochester, NY, August 2006. All the pictures that I "create" from nothing are special to me. I like to find different objects that you wouldn't expect to be in a "picture" and turn them into "art". I love playing in Photoshop -- it gives photographers an arena to enhance what they already thought was interesting. I took this picture at the Oceano Dunes in CA, near Pismo Beach. It was taken at a time when I was experiencing a great deal of stress at work. The dunes were trampled the day prior to the shoot, but after waking in the morning, they were completely absent of any footsteps or markings of any kind.
