The morning after this snowfall, the air was very still and very cold, the snow stayed on the branches as the sky cleared to bright blue. These branches are 20 feet up covered in snow, this lasted for a short while the wind blew all of the snow off the trees in about an hour. I like the abstract feel of this. On 2-6-09, my daughter and I walked out onto frozen Lake Erie at Conneaut, OH, to talk to the ice fishermen. The next day, the weather warmed and the ice broke off at the western side of the lake, stranding about a hundred ice fishermen.
