This photo is my one year old nephew, Caden. I took it during the summer of 2010, on a hot day where we rolled out the round, tin tub, filled it with cool water, stripped him naked, and put him in. This simple tub of water entertains him for hours. The reason I chose to place this photo under the "People/Family/Friends" category is because when I look at this photo, I see the simplicity of a child, so content with such a small thing as water, and how completely comfortable he is with being nude in front of Aunt Camille and the surrounding family members. We all enjoy the color, fun, food, arts, dance and music as the many ethnic groups in Los Angeles each celebrate their own culture. This picture was taken in Granger, Texas, at a wheat field my dad and I stopped at while out driving. He had to convince me to get into the field, and after several shots, this "first" picture turned out to be the best shot that day.
