The sands in Namibia were this incredible burnt orange color, but the trees in the Death Vlei gave the area a surreal quality.

I took this picture in a small village called Ring in Co. Cork, Ireland.

I was sitting on the beach about 15 feet away from 200 black skimmers when they blasted off on a cloudy morning. My son wanted to shave whenever my husband shaved. So we made him a special razor (without blades) so that he could shave every time Daddy shaved.

When our grandson was born, it was the first grandbaby on both sides of the family. All the family members were "on scene" moments after he was born, documenting his arrival.
